It's more like Time Breaker or one of the Magic Balls (now called Smash Frenzy). However, it's not bad. Hit water blocks for a neat effect! It's easier than many to tell the difference between the good and bad "bonuses" and it's unusual to have multiple different size balls bouncing around.
I like this kind of game and you can't complain about the price! :) I'll keep it.

It is really cool. I downloaded http://www.gamehouse.com/download-games/smash-frenzy-3 from gamehouse. The trial version have yet to purchase it because no money or funtickets, but now I don't know if I will because this game they are giving us is so much similar.
By the way I am using Windows Vista 64-bit and this new game Sandlot game for the week works great

Smash Frenzy 3 was originally called Magic Ball 3. Alawar in their infinite wisdom have decided to change the names of all four Magic Ball titles. I nearly purchased the fourth one without even checking it out because I love arkanid games and tend to just go right ahead and buy them without checking - of course this has lead to me buying some dreadful games, but overall I've been really pleased with the purchases I've made. (I collect arkanoids). I decided to download the demo first, and it was exactly the same as my copy of Magic Ball 4; so I downloaded the other thre copies and each one was the same as its counter part (Magic Ball 1, 2 and 3).
Whether its a marketing ploy to make more cash I don't know, but it seems strange changing the name of a well known franchise.
I agree with you Campy, there's not many arkanoid/breakout games to touch Ricochet Infinity. That game has thousands of custom made levels ready to download for free, most of which are available via an in game menu, so you've got an unlinited (virtually) number of levels to play, plus it has it's own levels creator. The power ups are numerous and interesting and theres a multitude of brick types. There are a couple of Arkanoid games that are almost as good such as Acky's XP Breakout, which has many surprises and a levels editor thats really easy to use, though it doesn't look as good as Ricochet. Another one called Breakquest (no level editor unfortunately), which has an amazing number od differnt styles of levels. Every level loooks totally different with respect to brick types, plus theres a really good power up configuration manager with some excellent power ups. (I'm surprised the developer has never created a second version, though the ideas that went into each level design may have taken all the ideas, lol)

This is quite a bit different than Dr. Pills. It's even more a cross between Tetris and Match 3. Not bad, though - even if I did have to do the first level twice!

I think it's a false positive, as all the "main" security programmes didn't find anything. On the other hand, I remember that there were some problems with another Sandlot game - Glyphe - before."

I finally was able to run a full scan with Online Armor and both of these came up as infected. I blocked them both but does that mean the games won't open? The scan flagged almost 200 files as suspicious (all games files). Was I supposed to mark each one as allowed? All I did was block the things that said "infected" and closed out the screen.
Today I'm having a problem downloading Boonka. I guess AO doesn't like games.

As far as I can tell, you need to clear a certain number of items. There's a gauge on the right that I think goes up. If you hit the top too hard, you have to try over (after getting angry black clouds). The reason I had to do the first level a 2nd time is, for some reason, I got no fairies to put together to clear above them. If you get the block overlapping, you get more bang for your buck when you match fairies.

Barnyard Invasion. I've been hoping they'd do this one. It's a little silly, and a lot of fun (although maybe not of much interest to you hard-core gamers out there). Actually a Match-4 game, where you're playing as one of the farm animals who are being rescued from earthly mistreatment by some humane (?) aliens. Complete with tinfoil hats and other sneaky tricks used by the farmer to foil (pun intended) the invaders.
One drawback for me is that the game is timed. Also, it seemed to leave my cursor slower than usual after I exited, resumed my invasion, and exited again. The cursor speed was fine within the game, but for everything else I had to go to Control Panel and re-adjust it.

The game is cute! It's unusual in that every move does not have to make a "match". You can set up your match.
I liked that even though you are playing the part of the alien, you can choose what "animal" you represent. I chose the yellow bunny. :-)
I found the dragging slow but the click-click works fine. I am playing in windowed mode with the music volume OFF.
What is a neat coincidence is the end of each level builds a crop circle. Just last night I watched a special on the National Geographic Channel on crop circles! LOL

EDIT: A fun little game. Has no music volume control, but music can be turned off. Download is 13MB, installed size is about 26.5MB. I couldn't find any way to exit the game gracefully: ESCAPE key doesn't work; using ALT+TAB to move the full-screen to the task bar doesn't help, because right-click doesn't bring up the usual menu with the CLOSE option. So I had to use the Task Manager (CTRL,ALT,DEL). If anyone finds a better way, please post it here. Hopefully, I'm just missing something really obvious (which would be totally unprecedented for me, of course!).

I had trouble with the exit at first, too. I expected it after reading your post. However, I played around and somehow hit CTRL-x and after that ESC worked to bring up the menu to exit. There was a strange script error window on the screen after I exited but I don't know for sure it was from anything I did explicitly. However, now it works every time I go into the game.
It should be noted that after that first time (to get the registration code entered), I DO NOT use their shortcut. I un-hide prog.exe in the bin folder and create a shortcut from that to use. That may also have an impact on what is happening.
It is a cute little game. However, it's a shame that you have to RESTART the entire game to reply a level. There are times you simply cannot catch all the food (those arrows only go one way) and I would like to try again.
I've been playing exploration mode which is not timed. I don't play full-screen for games like this unless I have to (and this case the default is windowed). It's rare for Windowed to be the default!

Thanks for the tip. I seem to have to hit ESCAPE twice for some reason, but it's better than the alternative! Funny, CTRL-X is usually the Cut-and-paste shortcut. I don't use gameboxes either.
Yes, I noticed that about having to restart the game to replay a level. With most games, I tend to have more than one player ID going, but that doesn't seem to be an option here. I'm playing Exploration mode, too.

Ctrl-x is usually "Delete". I have no idea why I tried that combination. It may have been a coincidence but it worked!
Since hubby doesn't usually play my games (except for Windows Spider and Atral Arrows), the ability or lack thereof for multiple IDs is not that important for me.
I rebooted to be sure that it wasn't something temporary that I did to get ESC to work. I did note that you cannot use ESC until a level has fully started. While it's stills saying "Ready .... Go!", you have to wait until the "Go" had disappeared and then it works. Otherwise it works fine. I wish there was a "map" option so you could SEE where all the food was. There are times you just can't get to them but you do have far more control using a mouse than the keyboard.
