Not sure if this is a new one from them, can't recall seeing it given away before, but this week's free game is Eye for Design (sorry don't know how to add screenshots). Diane

Thanks diane. No it's been posted before. My daughter loves this one. :)
I downloaded Westward - nice game!
I had come into the Sandlot games just a few weeks ago. I had not played this one! Quite fun!!
Thanks for all the info, you guys got some great games for free. I am sad that they won't be offering this much longer.

Only two more to go before Sandlot shut's it's doors to downloads and most probably this free feature. The next change overs will be on the 24th and 31st October, but the last day will only run for one day; (probably).
PlainVanilla, where did you find that? When I went to the site, it says it doesn't exist anymore.
Terri, it was only available for one day just before the site closed down. The site must have had an automati updater for the games as it was available Monday 31st October, but then disappeared when Digital Chocolate shut the site down last Tuesday.
That's a good question, how to come to the site? I didn't find it.
However, using Vanilla's link you can still download the game. Just as always.
Different to former downloads, Kaspersky gave me a warning about a trojan. I'm sure it's a false positive - but that shows, that the download file isn't the same as the "old" one from Sandlot.

They do say that you have to contact them if you need to download any game that you've acquired from them. I don't know whether this includes those that were given away free, but I reckon it will include these because we went through the purchase procedure so they show up as purchased games even though the price was $0
Not so sure on this one, as the links (except the latest one Tradewind Legends which is still free, at least for this week) now all have a purchase game button and Sandlot did give us the option to buy back-up CDs.
No harm in asking them though and seeing what they say!
Actually I got the link from my bookmark http://www.sandlotgames.com/w5/all_games/free_game_of_the_week.html
But I see clicking on the page shown takes it to a FAQ about the shutdown. Got it on this past monday, Nov 7th.
Yes, they changed the link.
It seems, we can close this thread now.
When you sign for the newsletter, you'll get a free game.

The free game is "Bull Run Fever" but the link to it doesn't work! I signed up, got my "activation code" (good for a week) but when I "Click Here" I get a connection reset error.
Not good customer service from my point of view!
Dragonlair, I tried signing up and was also offered Bull Run Fever, and like you, got absolutely nowhere in downloading it. Back to the drawing board for them. As you say, it doesn't look good when Sandlot WERE so good, downloading was so easy.
the link to get Bull Run Fever finally works. I'm in the process of installing it now. I already got it downloaded. I made MSE check it out first (no problems). The install was slow to start but it's about 2/3 of the way through now. I still don't know if I'm gonna like the game but it was worth a try.
That has got to be one of the silliest games I've ever seen but it's cute. It's something to play just occasionally because it's not my normal cup of tea but it's really really cute.
Signed for newsletter, just get link to MMA Pro Fighter in their email, no mention of Bull Run Fever. :(
Quote from email confirm subscription "Go to Digital Chocolate to play many more exicitng games!" - note their spelling of exciting! Perhaps they are trying to re-invent the English Language? Hope they correct their spelling! :)
I signed up and did not get anything for a free game....
Whats up with that? I noticed the misspelling of exciting also!
When I signed up they sent me an email with a activation code and download link for Bull Run Fever. I tried to download it right then but their site was having problems. I tried again today and was able to download it. I had some trouble activating (firewall issues) but other then that it seems to work.
Could it be that they just have some initial trouble?
Let's be patient.

I got the email for signing up for their newsletter (and a link and code for a free game) on November 8. The code was to be good for ONE week. It is now November 20 and I just got the "automatic" response that assigned me a "ticket number" for my problem.
I do NOT consider that good customer service!!!!!!
I really don't understand why the graphic changes to a different game every week when they are not offering this promotion anymore.
