   Thanks graylox. this is one of the better games from the games we get for free. well that is if you like tower defence games (TD). As TD games go it's rather simple, but it's got all of the elements TD fans love; well worth a download if you don't already own it.

    Now that we basically know all titles in the free offers, which ones do people think are some of the best ones? I went back a few dozen posts and saw WR and Chazzo recommend Monster Mash, while graylox appears to be fond of Tradewinds Legend. Any other recommendations so we know what to look out for?

    I like the Slyder ones.

    Since they have different kinds of games, you're going to have fans of each game. I personally don't like time management games so I have skipped the Tradewinds games.

    Just go for the types you like and ignore them. You don't have to get them just because they're free.

    My favorite is Pirate Island. It's a match 3 (horizontal, vertical and diagonal) without a timer (yay) and it has a story, trophies and dancing skeletons at the end of every level.
    The grandkids and I have fun playing it :)

    There are 2 play modes....challenge (timed) and timeless. Also hi-scores for each level....best time and most points.

    Ok, I'm not one to play a whole lot of games, so what confuses me is the fact that I have not seen a new game on Sandlot's giveaway for at least a year. Do they just cycle through 6 games? I know it is free and I do appreciate it, but one would think they would have a few games that are pass the purchase phase. All I ever see is Grandma, Tradewinds, Slider, Boonzka (sp?) and Westward or something like that.

    Yes they just recycle, but there are more than six although some are multiple generations of the same subject. For example they have Cake Mania, Cake Mania 2 and Cake Mania 3. I have a total of 24 that I got from them for free.

    You have missed one Campy, I've got 25! My favourites are Monster Mash, Ballistik and the Granny games.

    I wonder why they haven't released the last few in their Blue Plate Specials, instead releasing the same few over and over now? I guess I should be grateful though for what I've got for nothing, but that's difficult when I still see some 4.99 games that we haven't got. Still, I have got so many games that it shouldn't matter to me, and after all, I am stuck on the My Kingdom for the Princess, Island Tribes, Roads of Rome, Farm Mania, Timebuilders and Royal Envoy games now, playing them over and over again with an occasional foray into the Granny games and many many others that I've got. Whoops, got a bit Off Topic there, sorry.
