   Yes it seems slightly different from the version they offered earlier. This one says "Finale". I had to take that one off before I finished because it started acting screwy. Hopefully this one will let me get to the end. Yes it is timed.

   They are definitely in a repetitive mode. I don't know if they have a certain cycle and it's finally come back to the point where I started or if it's just a dry spell. Has anybody been checking their free games since they started and know which is the case?

   Funny I was noticing that games were re appearing but remember our estimed White Rabbit had pointed this out, that the games do repeat.
   Maybe he can answer this....

   I've wondered if they "run a course" with them too, but it seems they only repeat a few days then go to new ones again so I don't think that's the case.....but then Ive been wrong before once or twice in my life....maybe even 3 times. :)

    I am almost finished 3days-zoo mystery.
    Just LOVE this game; it is funny and charming and has really different game play(and the mini games are very different)
    I also like that it is upbeat; I was getting tired of all the DARK and depressing mysteries...

    I am also almost finished Sunset studio; really have been enjoying it too..

    I sure wish I had found this site sooner so I could have found out about the Gamehouse giveaway sooner. There are some on that list I would have really liked to have. Tomorrow is Laura Jones and the Secret Legacy of Nikola Tesla. I think I played that before and enjoyed it except for the annoying ferret that shows up while the new scene is downloading.

    Usually I don't mind the ads......I look at new posts on facebook while they run. BUT...today's game, Holly II has an ad after EACH screen & it drove me so batty I had to quit playing.

    Marcellino, not flaming you, but just wondering what is the point.? Most likely every game GameHouse has will be offered up, sooner or later, as a freebie of the day.

    I found the cursor on today's game very annoying but I got adventurous and found a file in the game folder called cursor animation (or something like that) and I deleted it and now the cursor is fine.

    I will be playing it next..I am still playing the Amersterdam game.I am enjoying it, but it is a bit weird the way one has to endure the found objects s l o w disintergration) LOL!

    I agree, Merri... bummer, Terri! I wish they could condense these large files somehow, especially since people are downloading instead of buying discs a lot.

    It seems like there should be a way to break it up into sections for smaller downloads. That way you could play part, delete it and install the next part.

    Today's Pat Sajak's Lucky Letter is a crossword puzzle type game. It's different and a nice change of pace. And it's a VERY SMALL file.

    I'll check out Lucky Letter! The thing about Nancy Drew games, is you do keep going back and forth, sometimes to the beginning with the puzzles, so that wouldn't be the type of game you could break apart. My first Nancy Drews I bought on discs (got a great deal on an anniversary pack: 5 full games for $20!) as I had a space problem as you do. So if you're into Nancy, you might look for deals like that. Though free is definitely better!
