   hum-tee-tum. I shall ponder. can't be that hard since the nail didn't crack it, unless you made a hole first.

   can't be too soft since the edge is straight, not deformed.

   not visibly, at any rate- or I'd throw a curveball and ask if it's the inside of a hide tacked up to dry.

   every time a post rolls over as the first one on a new 'page' it's hidden until the next post is sent. typing a single character and clicking 'send post' takes care of it.

   omg. am'rrcan idol? if you know where to find info on the net, I got somebody who wants to know- *I* sure don't!

   I admit that'd be a funny color for a hide/fur unless dyed, but out on the mining claim we raised rabbits for meat- so why waste the fur?

    1 - It's NOT from another planet.

    2 - It's NOT part of me (thank God).

    3 - It's NOT a bullet in anything.

    That should make it very easy to guess now. MwaHaHaHaHa!!!!

    OK OK. Well if it's not FROM another planet, maybe it IS another planet and the silver thing is the flying saucer that landed on it?

    Actually.....the more I look at it, the more it looks like one of Buckley's chew toys......althought why anyone would nail one of them to the wall is beyond me.

    Yeah....I'd be more likely to nail the dog to the wall than his chew toy. Oops....maybe I shouldn't say that to a dog lover. That's what happens when you are attacked by a doberman while on roller skates as a child! (What that doberman was doing on roller skates, I'll never know). I actually like dogs.....as long as they are nowhere near me. I am thinking about getting a Greyhound....they are so low key and quiet. Plus, I won so much money betting on them that I feel I should return the favor by adopting one!

    No, it is NOT a planet, and I don't believe any flying saucers are involved in the picture either.

    It may be midnight where you are, but out West it's only 9:40...so you'll have to wait a while longer for another PICTORAL CLUE.

    like, until the gaotd rolls over- that's me, too. sure you're from earth? last time I saw a mutt on roller skates it was to keep up the attack with me on my bicycle. I told his owner that was a low tactic.

    I was the one on skates, of course, which is why it was so hard to fend off the attacking dog. He knocked me over, climbed on my back and started to have lunch.

    Don't know how your pretzels look like, but I think this is one, with a coating of bubblegum. The white knop is the cream coming out and you have tried to push it back, therefore is your fingerprint on it.
