No to all your answers.
The first one is a defensive mechanism, but not a gun, the second one can be eaten and the third often gets muddy.

I have no idea about the first one but 2 is an apple & 3 is a doormat.
You've got the second one right. The image shows a drop of water on the skin of the apple. i'll post the original just as soon as i've sorted out all the files i'm migrating to Win 7. The images are in my documents folder on the XP platform.
The doormat is wrong.
Take account of the other clues;
It has sulphur in it (Think, what whould sulphur be used for), also related is a product tapped from a certain type of tree, and the clue in a 'roundabout' way.
I'll tell you what it is either tonight ot tomorrow, assuming no one gets it. The first one is a tool used by jets and helicopters. If you've played games like Battlefield 2 or a military flight sim you should get this one right away. but the clues I've given should help those that aren't familiar. Remember the clues. It's used in a theatre of war and is some sort of protective mechanism. :) Easy Peazs ... lem..... lol
The apple was the one I couldn't figure out.. the others are a signal flare (or radar flak) and a tire.
The first one is wrong... remember I said it's some sort of protection....
but the second one is right. It's a mountain bike t
The radar flack is almost right, but not quite. they use metal chaff for radar scrambing.
yeah I knew they used shredded aluminum for radars but the defense stuff goes beyond my realm of knowledge.. I obviously need to play more war games ;) oh yeah, don't they release something out for 'heat-seeking' rockets? dunno what it's called...
1. Rocket Fuel
3. Rubber
Yes BentlyTCow, it's a flare for attracting heat seeking rockets. Yes, 3 is rubber. More importantly a mountain bike tyre.
Well, that was very fun - these games stimulate the mind - thank you, WR. Can't wait for the next one - drumroll please........LOL!
Hopefully have some more just as soon as I've posted the games I promised.
I'll be looking forward to the next challenge- I really felt a 'DUH' moment when the IR countermeasure flares were mentioned. I've come up with a few nice what is it's, but alas, left them home.
My sister should be in surgery for her biopsy in about 3 hours, but it could be as much as 5 hours after that that I find out anything. unless things go bad real fast. I'm hoping to have to wait.
My next expected login will be tomorrow evening sometime, as I'll be taking one leg of the bus up to my other stop in california before heading back to oregon the 13th- haven't been able to try any giveaways as I'm just borrowing time on the computers here.
good day to all- Bob
