Buckleysmom came closest, it's a 3/8 tattoo tool, for ear marking, etc. that's a brand new one, available at http://www.valleyvet.com.
it'll take a bit to get some pix hosted, darnit. well, one 'foggy day' shot.

Its a basket weave design. My first duty leather had this design so I'll take a poke and say a leather design stamp?
Goody.....love the picture of the holly bush/tree. I saved it for Christmas wallpaper. As for Gwiin 030......looks like a closeup of a plastic fly-swatter I have....is it that or simply a window screen?
Those "castration, constipation" posts were hilarious....you guys are a hoot! lol
got more holly, I'll package some up.
it's not a leather former [though it is metal] nor is it a flyswatter or window screen- here's a wider view- and think of my different scales...
Microphone screen?
close, think finer.
actually close enough, on reflection. it's the cover of an earbud- I expected punched foil like an electric razor. woven wire squashed flat.
here's the cropped-from image.

and the yard.
Pretty snow pictures ... and I just cannot resist asking .. is that 'odd growth' something that showed up on your 'earbud' after you wore them? LOL
nope- I bought the earbuds to make an audio adapter for the speakerset terri's using- that's on a concrete block I moved cutting berries. prebuilt adapters cost absurd amounts.
I though it would be nice to resurect this game. I didn't partake peviously because I was so busy with the free games project and other stuff. away, here's my first contribution to the game:
It's not a common object, so, unless your up to date with technology, you may not guess what it is. The original photo was low res, hence the artifacts in the image.
Easy, its A pair of scissors, Am I right?
a Laser
No it's neither of those. I'll give a vague clue tomorrow.
By the way, what does ROTFLMAO mean? Just curious. Thanks.
Rolling on the floor laughing my ankles off
any relative to these guys?
clip, connector, plug, jack... don't even know the German name.
Thanks, WR, good idea to wake this old thread up again.
Now, as we can show our pics directly, it is so much easier than before.

Oh wow! It's so good to see this game revived! Thanks Rabbit! But I have absolutely no idea what the object in the picture is. I would guess it has to do with some sort of electronics. I'll have to wait for your clues.
okay my first 3 clues (I think you're going to need at least three because this isn't something you can buy off the shelf yet); you could place several of them on your thumbnail (In fact the object is on someones thumbnail, though thumbnail would be a red herring) and it's electronic (you can see a little of the material (SRBP) used to build circuit boards in the top left corner of the image). And thirdly Azimov is indirectly related to this subject.
Hi Graylox, no connectors are nowhere near what this object is.
(I hope I didn't resurrect this thread with something too hard).
For some reason I think it's a Kensington lock, but that's not electronic and doesn't come in pairs. It could also be a printer cartridge chip (I take those off of my used inkjet ink tanks for the future when I have some sort of chip reader and then I can make some sort of light array), but those don't necessarily come in pairs.
Shrinking the picture and looking from far away, it looks like ribbon cables from something. The size looks SATA, but I don't think SATA cables are connected in the same fashion as IDE cables.
no it's none of those GMMan.
Here's another image looing at the top of the object:
Oh, yes, of course, it's a tiny part of Mr. Data's positronic brain; to be more exact: it's part of the emotion chip ;)
It's either a processing chip or some sort of sensor. If I didn't know better, I would have said it's some sort of LED/LCD display.
Neither of your suggestions GMMan, though you're getting closer. Graylox is sort of very indirectly right. Think Azimov, think Data and think small. :)
Is it a nanite?
No it's not a nanite, but you are very close. It's much larger than a nanite. :)
Hmmm it's some sort of chip...I'm not good when it comes to chips...
