    Couldn't be any more false....lol But I do like to hear the sound of a game in the background on holidays....that's because we always spent holidays at my grandparents house and my grandfather always watched football so it was always the background sound. Ooh.....good memories!

    nope - I do know how to (and have many times) used Skype - it's rather useful, I think -and, yes, Robert, you are absolutely correct. You made a very intelligent, educated guess - Good for you - way to go, Robert! I'm impressed. :)

    Ahlan Beeki would be said to a "female" and Ahlan Beek would be said to a "male" - and similar to the French language - every word in Arabic is either feminine or masculine.

    By the way, the phrase "Ahlan Wasahlan" means "Welcome" or "Hello". _______________________________________________________________________________________

    The person below me will have something yummy for dinner tonight (whatever that something yummy is in your opinion - that is for you to decide, of course. :)

    We are going to my husbands Chinese club's semi annual banquet tonight; it is being held in a very good Chinese seafood restaurant here, and price is usually no object, so the table groans with dishes like lobster, steamed crab with ginger,scallops and so forth..there will be 9 dishes in all; and YUM is the verdict!

    Yes, I am - how did you know, Alianthia - you are so very smart - you go, Girl! :)
    I just ordered (online) a new all-in-one, four-feature Lexmark printer (print, copy, scan, fax) - which I desperately need, as I work from home one day a week, and I need a high-quality-capable printer to meet my work scanning/printing needs.

    That will be the next thing we will need (but a lap top will be on the list for the end of the year)

    Copmom, the steak and leftovers sound good!
    Hopefully we will have leftovers but as most folks that will be with us are good eaters, I won't bet on it..lol.

    False, as no elections here, but YES I totally agree about voting.
    Especially for women, who haven't really HAD the vote that long(is it only about 100 years???!!!)

    Yes, quite true (she's nice and quiet) - actually, she is my parents' tenant - but I will eventually inherit this task/job (I'm sure) and I do help my mother and father out every-now-and-then. It's fun to actually meet the tenant and take care of any condo issues that arise.
    Alianthia - you are spot on today with many things that apply to me - oh, oh, you're beginning to scare me, with your ESP and everything - just kidding! LOL!
