Inas...LOL!
Actually it's funny as I have been told that I have certain "abilities" ..not psychic but close,I guess..
But it is said that most people do, too, but just don't know ...
Out tenant lives in our basement, so it is extra nice that she is quiet! The person below me is enjoying having an extra day off(but here it is POURING rain)
Posted 14 years ago # -
False.. had a beautiful day and did get a good start on clearing out the shelves in the shed. Amazing how many things can accumulate!

The person below me is going to enjoy another beautiful day today!Posted 14 years ago # -

We live on the WET coast, so it is pouring rain again..lol
It's ok as we had a VERY dry and hot summer(which is typical for here, too)The person below me, is uploading photos so that it's easy to access them with the new computer..

False.....I have to work on many things today but photos is not one of them.
We deal with tenants as well and they are VERY quiet right now.....because the apartments are both unoccupied at the moment....lol Just happened to lose both tenants at the same time so DH is doing some needed repairs and updating before we rent them again which will hopefully be the end of this month.
Inas....let me know how you like that Lexmark. I am about ready to toss my HP through a window. I will never buy another HP.
Yes, I wish we could all get together to meet, that would be fantastic!
The person below me would like to get a new car.
Posted 14 years ago # -
Yes, I would like to get a new car (after all, who wouldn't) - but I am happy with the one I already have (a 2002 Kia Rio Cinco) - so I don't really need to buy one now.
Will do, BK, as soon as I set it up and use it for all functions (quickly, hopefully) I'll let you know how I like it. I, too, am not too crazy about HP printers - they are memory/resource hogs, and their software updates are a pain-in-the-neck - they don't process correctly 100% of the time. I ditched my HP all-in-one printer months ago.
____________________________________________________________________________________The person below me has tried (and likes) a mideastern sandwich/dish called "falafel", made from chickpeas or fava beans, or a combination of both, with tahini sauce. It's deelicious (yum...yum...yum) :)
Posted 14 years ago # -
True!!!
I Love chick peas(we eat them often as we do many other kinds)
and had a falafel while in Las Vegas one time.
It came with Greek olives on the side(I am salivating now thinking of this)
I might have to have some hummus and crackers(just got home after a exhausting day..first day of school for the university where I work, and there was LOTS to clean!)The person below me has been to a Greek wedding...
Posted 14 years ago # -
False.....but I've been to an Italian one.....long time ago.
I look forward to your report on your new printer, Inas....I've seen a lot of good reviews on Lexmarks. As for the car, we're hoping to get a Kia Sedona, I test drove one several weeks ago and I loved it. We went to see one yesterday and are waiting for them to detail it before we make the final decision. It's used but only has 18,000 miles on it. I hope it works out....it's such a "fun to drive" vehicle.
I've been hearing a lot about both hummus and falafel. I've never had either....gotta check them out.
The person below me loves the fall colors and is looking forward to seeing them soon.
Posted 14 years ago # -
Very true! I love the fall colors and the weather report said they expect this to be a really good color year! Can't wait to start shooting pictures .. I love taking pictures of the fall colors as well as interesting cloud/sky pictures!

The person below me had a long day today!! (Like I did).Posted 14 years ago # -
Quite true, CopMom, it seemed as if the day would never end! - by the way, I gather your son and/or daughter are police officers? If so, I'll keep him/her/them in my prayers, as being in law enforcement is a dangerous and difficult job! God bless them and protect them always as they do their jobs to help protect others. :)
_____________________________________________________________________________________The person below (like me) enjoys doing crossword puzzles!
Posted 14 years ago # -
Very true.. I like doing the harder ones like the "Herald Tribune Challenging Puzzles"
and yes, both our sons are police officers! Thanks for your thoughts on that Inas!

Posted 14 years ago # -
False, don't get dressed up... and we live so far out of the way that we've been skunked for several years now.. no trick or treaters, so we always buy a bag of something we like to eat since we're going to have to anyway! LOL

_______________________________________________________________________________________Here's the ditty:
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious - if you say it loud enough, you'll always sound precocious - Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
____________________________________________EDIT: I removed my duplicate listing about loving Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music - sorry about that - it's the end of the day, and I'm exhausted (LOL!) - glad to make you happy, CopMom - my pleasure, anytime.

The person below me is contemplating purchasing a new and larger TV
Posted 14 years ago # -
False, not getting one until current one dies! AND we had our TV cabinet custom built out of oak to fit the current TV, DVD, VCR, tapes, etc. which is an older big square kind. These newer flat screened ones are going to be too wide to fit in the TV part.. now what do we do? It's a large piece of furniture! Can't spend anything now I don't have to - must keep things we have now running .. refrigerator started making strange vibrating loud noise when running, repairman coming today!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The person below me is awaiting a rainy day today! We need it!Posted 14 years ago # -
False - the need for rain is satisfied in our region; at least for me :)
We had rain today and some sunny moments - I dread the winter, especially the darkness. Though I must admit, a few days were far too hot this summer. The person below me would like to move to the southern hemisphere now, to enjoy springtime.

Hope this one keeps going until then! Found out we bought it in 1994 so guess we got our money's worth?
