The person below (like me) has ditched all their landline phones for their cell phones and/or the magicjack system (which I highly recommend, by the way, all for only $19.95 per year, including many features/benefits, and even less if you buy 5 years of service.)
False.. we don't get cell reception here with the mountains, so still have land lines, except we've gone over to Charter cable for phone service, don't pay any long distance charges, have all features, (call waiting, voice mail, caller ID, etc.), and can call all of US, Canada, and Puerto Rico unlimited, 24/7 .. not that I know anyone in Canada or Puerto Rico! Our 2nd phone line is only $3.50 per month with same features, that's for receiving faxes. Also have TV and internet on that Charter 'package'.

The person below me has visited Cairo Egypt and ridden a cute, loveable camel.
True, on both counts. Beautiful country, but far too hot.
I loved motorcycling. It really did give you a sense of freedom on the roads. Being able to squeeze through traffic jams and opening the throttle when on an open and clear road. Plus the exilaration and slight danger of being exposed to the elements, and the companionship when riding with friends of a like mind. I really miss motorcycling.

The person below me rides a pedal bike.

The person below me loves to eat stuffed grape leaves.
False..never tried that, and stuffed with what?
Inas, would you like me to send you some grape leaves? Have a large vine growing outide! And, question.. you still fit on that little girls bike??
________________________________________________________________________
The person below me is waiting for MORE rain, like we are.. the leaves on the trees are starting to wave in the breeze.
Nope - the weather here in our area will be sunny and warm for the next few days.
Hey there, Copmom, grapeleaves are a mideastern/egyptian treat - stuffed with rice, tomatoes, onions, ground beef, salt and pepper - it's yummy - and thank you for offering to send me some grape leaves - that's very generous of you - lastly, yes, I still fit on my Schwinn bike because I am petite.
EDIT: I may have misunderstood what WhiteRabbit meant by a "pedal bike". I took that to mean a regular, adult-size two-wheel bike - mine is a regular-size Schwinn girls' bike that can accommodate a petite-size adult. If WhiteRabbit meant something else, then I misunderstood.

The person below (like me) enjoys re-arranging household furniture now & then for a change-of-pace.
True.. I love re-arranging things. And with our laminate wood floors it makes it easier to just slide things around! My husband hates this! LOL
Inas.. I guess the stuffed grape leaves sound a bit like a taco? Are they cooked and eaten or just used as a 'container' for the innards?

By the way, CopMom, the grapeleaves are fully cooked and eaten, and if you choose the right grapeleaves (i.e. brand, texture, etc.) - they will melt in your mouth when cooked (yum, yum, yum!)

The person below me needs to learn how to freeze/can produce, as their garden is producing more than what their family of 4 can eat. See, Chip, I told you "True"...(chuckle). I am having my men-folk take extra produce to share with co-workers, and planning fewer of certain vegetable plants for the next growing season.
1/2 True.. we learned how to can jellies and jams since we have concord grapes, blueberries, and cherries, but never got into preserving the veggies. Apricot/pineapple jam is also good when apricots are abundant.. we add canned crushed pineapple to that.
RosnSC you can also donate the excess produce to the local shelters that feed the needy.

The person below me has too much to do today!
True....in this heat anything is too much...it got SOOOO humid by 11:00am it's ridiculous.
The person below me got caught in a thunderstorm today (like my DH did).
Speaking of that here's a funny story for you. DH was walking Buckley while I waited in the car. It started to drizzle slightly. I decided I better move to the drivers side and be prepared to go pick them up. But he had parked so close to this ditch on my side of the road I could barely get out. As I'm figuring out what to do my cellphone rings. It's DH calling to tell me to be prepared "just in case". (Yeh right Hon) I got out and had to hang on to the car as I worked my way around just to keep from sliding down into the ditch. It's starting to drizzle a bit harder. I made it around the car and had just opened the drivers side door when my cell phone rang, DH says, "You better just come on down so we can hop in if we need to". (Sure...ok). I sat on the drivers seat and reached to close the door when a bird flew into the car. It flew down on the floor, hit my ankle, fluttered around a brief second and much to my relief flew back out. It is now starting to rain a bit. I try to start the car and the key won't turn. Our car steering wheel tends to "lock" at times and you have to give the wheel a little turn to free it up, but it happens so seldom I can't remember what it is you have to do to free it up. I try turning the wheel but it won't budge. Maybe I have to move the gear shift...I try that....of course you can't move it without the car running. Try the wheel again....nothing. It's really starting to come down pretty good now. Finally I give the wheel a third try and it frees up. Just as I'm starting the car the phone rings. "Where are you? We're getting soaked!", "I had a problem...I'm on my way". "What problem could you have? All you had to do was drive the car". A few seconds later I pick them up and he has the nerve to laugh when I tell him about my dilemma. So I said, "Humph! Let's see how wet you get NEXT time". Oh well...made for an interesting start to my day anyway.
Repeat....in case you forgot...
The person below me got caught in a thunderstorm today (like my DH did).
False, we didn't leave until the rain stopped .. but my hubby did a couple weeks ago .. LOL He had gone out to mow a section of the yard, it started raining so he headed up to the house, well, he'd gone out the front door so that was unlocked, but he was trying to get in the back door and that was still locked, so he rang the bell. By the time I got there, he was drenched. Why? We had our roofs redone with a metal one and right at the back door is a little overhang but they forgot to install a diverter there where two sections form a valley.. and it was a literal downspout.. right on hubby! Now it's been repaired! Of course I thought it was funny. He always says he has things happen like that for my amusement! Why do I laugh? Better you than me!
