I came in just in time (briefly) to note that maisey had nailed it. haven't seen rhubarb in a garden since I was maybe 10 or so, but that description needed no photos.
I miss mom's rhubarb pie, I do.
been out truing up, finishing some details on, and shooting photos to test that pan adapter.
found a stitching program that leaves the angle visible so I can see how close I got it. 166 shots in pairs. woof.

Before I could start test-shooting, I had to rescue a tweet (finch? I dunno- any birders know?) that managed to wiggle into an ex-ferret cage in the yard and couldn't get out:

http://www.picattic.com/files/yfm1ryy7grxr0ko95ls6.jpghere's the current state of the adapter- I put a knob on the lock, brass bushing into the tilt pivot, and knocked off some rough edges.

goody, could be a finch. Don't know. Cute little guy. It's good for him/her that you noticed its predicament.
You sure have been busy with designing and building the panoramic head. Can't wait to see your results!

yeah, he was beating himself to pieces on the cage wire- had to have gotten in from the bottom, both doors were closed.
all hand fit on the widget, plus a makita hand drill.
here's one from the road that shows the church and their new meeting hall (to the right) and our mobile home up on the hill:

and here's the yard I got many flowers and the sculptures pix, shot from the front walk:

that's artichoke on the far side of the stairs.
call it frustration since I'm trying to figure a lighting source for negatives.

We've got little birdies like that all over our feeders. They're real small like finches. But we have created a bad situation! We've been feeding our 4 outdoor kitties, one is tame (after a lot of patience) so he thinks we're HIS. We found him in the bed yesterday under a fold in the cover and barely saw the tips of his ears sticking up, had to wake him to get him out. Hubby puts out feed daily for the birds and wild turkeys. Thistle, cracked corn, wild bird seed, and even peanut butter. Now you know where all our money goes! Now the cats are really interested in stalking the birds.. what have we done? And the cats are NOT hungry.. just in their nature to stalk and hunt. At least we won't have anymore wharf rats, field mice, voles, or moles!
Here's a picture of our bird feeder: http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg264/copmom_photo/public/Birdfeeder26Small.jpgPosted 16 years ago # -
mom was from Kansas, so...
