   This is the "thingylingy" without a name.
   I bought it in Sweden, it's made in China, but nobody wrote a name on the storage rack in the shop or onto the packing, and I could not find anything like this by my "friend" Google

    google 'perforator', as in making 'perforations', or tear-here lines in thin sheets.

    like the far smaller row of holes that let you tear out checks, etc.

    thanks, but i don't think i won. ribbon didn't even occur to me. i was thinking of the tape to seal the package.

    BK and maizey.. neither! She works FT and doesn't have time for either especially when chauffeuring the kids to their different sports.. soccer, baseball, etc.
