Day 10: a strategy game:

Description

Empire Earth is back for the second opus ! Empire Earth II - Gold Edition is composed of Empire Earth 2 and its expansion Art Of Supremacy.

This second part come with new elements in each ages, but also with a new gameplay. It's now not very efficient to wait ennemies behind your defense towers, because the map is divided into severals zones, and each zone can have just one city center : you have to conquier more zones than your ennemies to defeat them! Another upgrade : there is now a strategy screen, with whitch you can coordinate and plan your attacks with your allies.

To sum up : with keeping the enormous advantages of the first game, Empire Earth II just levelled up the gameplay and enlarged the possibilities to make this strategy game more and more realistic and addictive! Enjoy!

I thought these were very good fairly recent (2002 & 2004) point and click adventure games. GOG sales them for $10 apiece and even with their current sale they are $5 each. So getting both for $6 from DotEmu is an excellent buy if you like this sort of game.
