   Hi folks

   I just cannot get the home page to load for me, keep getting the 'connection reset' error message. I have tried direct to the home page and also from going back from the forum but no go. Is it a temp fault perhaps linked to today's give away which I think is a password manager, and if so will this be extended for another day ?

   I don't know why some have difficulties today, a few users got a trojan alarm from Avast.

   I think it may be your av's or other security that is blocking the gotd site. When I come here today my avast say "Threat has been detected" and aborts the connection.
   the threat it says is

   Object: http://giveawayoftheday.com/|>{gzip}
   Infection: Js:ScriptIP-inf [Trj]

   This comes up everytime I try to connect to gotd, but the forum is ok.

   It was definitely Avast. I turned off the Avast Shield Control temporarily and got right through. Didn't realize it would just give you a reset connection message without telling you that it was Avast when it encountered something.

   Avast no false 0n my PC & not got 'connection reset' error message for over a year.
