Back to head cold, False. I had that a couple weeks ago. What you're both talking about is called 'brunch' .. combo of breakfast and lunch.
Have the grand kids for the morning while their daddy searchrs for work! The person below me had to get up early today, like me. Oh - it almost got to 100 yesterday, and there's more of the same to come. It's hot, hot, hot.

True....got up early b/c I had to get blood work done, then to Walmart for a few groceries so I wanted to get it done before the heat and the crowds.
This heat wouldn't be so bad if we didn't always get the humidity along with it. I am SO glad for the A/C....though I really hate having to close everything up and turn it on.
The person below me also has this love/hate feeling toward A/C.

False, but I DID break a tooth last week and now have a 3/4 plastic "tooth" as the dentist didn't want to remove what was there even though it was only 1/4 of a tooth after the piece broke..
(I always wonder if it's a scam and they are waiting for a root canal to be necessary)

The person below me is listening to someone in the next room trying to figure out how to use one of those plastic pitcher-looking spaghetti cookers that used to be shown on TV. Yeah, I know...no one else is doing that, but figured I'd throw it in...lol. It's a combo of amusing and annoying listening to him reading the instructions in a sort of just audible, and monotonous tone.

When it comes to sticking your finger in an electrical socket I don't get the wetting your finger first part. I mean...what....don't you get a big enough shock as it is?

False.. I think the 2002 Honda CRV, that we have now, is the last car we're buying.. only has 40,000 miles on it so it's just barely broken in, and it's paid for! They're built to last. Our last Honda Civic (1984 'over sized golf cart')that we gave to someone a few years ago just recently bit the dust and is going to that junkyard in the sky. That lasted 26 years!!

False.. day off? What's that? Right now we're in our busy time, so can't enjoy a day off.. but it will slow down once school starts and then it will be too quiet!
By the way, re: long nails..if you take folic acid (like I do), it makes your hair and nails grow super fast and stronger. Have to cut my nails often so I can type!

The person below me likes to cook. (Just noticed the grocery store has their beef whole sirloin tip roasts 7-11 lbs. on sale. Will have butcher grind it up for me and then will make a huge batch of spaghetti sauce w/meatballs and Italian sausages, as well as freezing up some sirloin burger patties. That will keep us (and our daughter) into mid fall!

Yes - I'm feeling much better now that my mother is okay after her surgery.
By the way, Alianthia, we also have not been eating beef or pork for many years (a health choice) - we eat lamb every now and then, but mostly fish and chicken.

True, but can't have a kitty in the house until our pit/beagle is no longer with us.. he's a cat killer (he's 11)! Our feral cat population has gone from 12 down to 2. Will get more to take care of when the Animal Welfare Assn. has a colony that's too large and has weaned kitties. We tend to them, feed/water, provide them shelter, and in turn, they keep the rodents away!

I wish we could have an outside cat but our house is only about 20 feet from the road and cars fly by so animals have little chance if they run free. But Buckley wouldn't tolerate it anyway. He goes wild when he sees a neighborhood cat....or a bird.....or squirrel...or....well you get the picture....lol
