Delilah, I'm still waiting for my answer but I DID get on their newsletter's mailing list! I got my newsletter this morning.
If they do any checking, they should see this PUBLIC discussion and their lack of response as reported. I would think that if they saw this, they would be sure to at least respond to save their reputation (which is not doing well at the moment).

This has been going on since 2/27. As I've told them repeatedly, the problem is that the registration code they sent me doesn't work. I can play the game just fine in trial mode, but what's the point? And what does my system have to do with THEIR code not working with THEIR software?
I'm not sure their responses are much better than no response at all!
After a third email to them, I finally got a response today. I told them that all attempts to download Gem Slider (gslider.exe) actually downloaded Gem Slider Deluxe (gems_deluxe.exe). I asked for a correct link or the code for the game I can get. They said "use this link" that SAID gslider.exe but, as usual, downloaded gems_deluxe.exe.
I replied and told them to try it themselves! If I don't get a response by tomorrow (late morning), I'm gonna use the "other" method of contact. I never get any response with "reply" but I did with the "contact Us" point.
Their customer service stinks!

Hi All; Of course I have the same problem. Mine is with 'Rotate Mania'. First reply from them they sent me the same e'mail with code that they originally sent when I downloaded the game. To make matters worse; I sent them my problem as a 'reply' (on top) of their original e'mail..It was as if they never even read it...jeez.
I then did a 'reply' again: they apologized and said to try this code..(sent a new code and reversed my name) guess what...didn't work (even after copy/paste).
Sent another 'reply'... will wait and see!!!!!
LMY, That is what has happened to me. I got them to reply on my third try and they then game me a link that didn't work. I sent it back and surprisingly, there was a response this morning - 2 responses!
The first was a link with registration info for Gem Slider Deluxe (what I've been downloading anyway). As you noted, it didn't work!
The other email was an acknowledgment that my observation was correct - you can't get the original Gem Slider any way. They say they have removed it and now it all references Gem Slider Deluxe. I guess my information was so direct (and I told them to try their own link) that I got my point across.
However, I'm STILL waiting to play Gem Slider Deluxe (full version).
I'm back in the waiting game. I think they never realized these problems until the link popped up here and now their finding them because WE'RE finding them and letting them know. As I saw, it helps to have as complete details as possible. I told them EXACTLY what was being downloaded and what was supposed to be downloaded. You can't get much more direct than that!
We're giving them a lot of "free" publicity. However, it's not all positive! If they correct the problems, I will post to give them full credit for responding!
I am getting responses from them now. I got an email response to my complaint that the key didn't work and they want screen-shots to show the error message and that I'm doing the right game!
I complied and (as usual), I'm waiting. :-)

Dragonlair they asked me to send a snapshot also...but I don't know how to do that...so I guess I am out of luck.

Screenshots are easy. If you don't have Irfanview, use Paint.
Just do this:
That's all you need. If you need multiple screenshots, just do this for each one. (you can select a "new" image for Paint rather than close and re-open it.
If you have more than one screenshot (I sent 3), I recommend you zip them and send all at once. Then just attach your image(s) to your reply email and wait.

Thank you Diane. It worked of course. I never had any use for screen print before, till now that is..lol. I sent them three shots also, so wait and see.
Terri, I've got a stubborn streak! If someone offers me something that I want, I'll do lots of extra little things to get that item. Each item I've had to do is just a few minutes and I know I'm helping others in the process.

Finally! I have Absolutist's Mahjong game registered (and it only took 13 days).
They sent me a different registration code, a different version of the name I'd given them(!), and the same download link again. Then they suggested I deinstall the version I had, download from the same link, and reinstall. Instead, I tried the new registration info with the game I already had installed, and it worked.
However, it's not the greatest Mahjong game I've ever seen. The music is choppy, and there are some blank tiles in the games. Sure, they match up with each other, but really! Other than that, I like the tile set(s?).
BTW, I kept replying to their emails, and the same person (Lilian) replied to each one. It took a while, but the most recent email acknowledges that there was a registration problem, with the Mahjong game, anyway. And, hearing what you all have experienced, I'm surprised that no one tried to put me off by asking for screenshots!
I finally got a correct registration code! In fact I seem to have 2 different ones! They claim to respond in a max of 2 business days so I emailed them yesterday (using their contact point) about the problem again and received 2 emails this morning. The first included screenshots that the code worked (LOL) and they said to re-install the game. I didn't re-install. I just applied their code and it worked.
The second email said they had a registration problem and gave me a code to try and asked for a response on it's success. I already had it working then so I didn't try their code. I did reply that I had it working finally. I did not uninstall and re-install as they recommended. All checks of their files show that the downloads are the same - it's the code that's the problem.
At least I now have it and it's rather nice - 3 modes of play. I also found the same game at Amazon.com for $6.99 (US addresses only). I got it for free and a few weeks of email headaches! ;)
