The Christmas eve game is Civ IV Complete (original game + 2 expansions + Colonization) for $19.99 (50% off). This is a great buy, but again Impulse is a little late. D2D has already done this and Steam currently it on sale. I can't remember the price on Impulse, but this is a little cheaper than Steam.

This one a day approach by Impulse and D2D may be great for getting views on their site, but I don't see how it helps sales when people like me really just look at the ones on special and when other sites are having the same games sooner.

The comprehensive Steam sale really blows them out of the water, but I wish Steam had done it sooner.

Impulse's Christmas day deal is on the pre-order of Dark Void. They are selling it for $30.50 which is supposedly 25% off. However, they seem to have a math problem as the normal price is $39.99 and that seems to have already been lowered to $35.

This is a third person 3D shooter that seems to make extensive use of a jetpack. You can see a recent preview and trailer here. I don't plan to spend over $30 on game that "has some rough edges that need to be smoothed out", but at least this isn't one we have been seeing for the same price elsewhere.
