Hi,
I was interested in why a particular community members online name had been chosen because I thought it was unusual. I though it may have had to do with a particular subject which as it turns out was totally wrong. I'm not going to mention the name here as it will be up to he community member to post if he wishes.
My name is derived from a song called Whiterabbit, sung by Grace Slick (hence my Skype Name being Slickwhiterabbit) while in a band called Jefferson Airplane. I used to use two names Whiterabbit and Moonrising, the latter is part of a Creedence Clearwater Revival song called Bad Moon Rising. Both names were chosen after playing some Vietnam War games such as Line of Sight Vietnam, Vietcong, Battlefield Vietnam and Men of Valor. White Rabbit and Bad Moon Rising figure somewhere in one or all of those games; and, as I grew up during my formative years (at the height of the Vietnam war), it figured a lot in my memory. Also the music of the time included both of these bands and tracks. Lot's of movies have also featured the music - I used to also go to a lot of alternative and rock clubs when I was younger and can remember losing myself on the dance floor to both those songs, so thought they were quite appropriate.
