   I've frozen this thread for now, simply because my book keeping is appalling (due to a brain injury I seem to have lost my ability to file things effectively) Consequently I've been unable to find the Steam keys for the games I've listed in this thread and more importantly for those games already promised to the community. I've been owing some games for over three years now and do feel awful that I've not kept my side of the bargain. I will eventually find and distribute those keys no matter how long it takes. I've been slowly adding all my backed up games, details of games, Steam keys to a data base. It's been a tedious job as the database program I have used (WinCatalog) is very slow at recording the contents of my DVD's, Blu Rays etc. It has taken over a day just to scan one 25GB blu-ray disk, and considering I have easily a couple of thousand disks as well as around 14TB of external drives with backups to add to the database ther's a lot of time involved. And becasue it is tedious, I don't spend a lot of time thinking abut it.

   It's been several years since I originally started the database and I'm still nowhere near finished (partly because after completing over 500 disks, the only backup of the database I had became corrupted, so I had to start from the beginning about 3 years ago (2017). I've only just managed to get to where I was three years ago.

   Another issue is that I've discovered a significant number of the Steam codes I have found so far that I purchased from Indie Gala are no longer redeemable, despite never being told their was a time limit on them. Indie Gala still operates the same deals and still doesn't mention any time limits.

   The following is a list of Steam games I have decided to give away to community members who post decent feedback about the games being given away. Each week, the best comment that gives feedback about the game will win a game of their choice (sometimes 2 games). Winners will be announced the following week, to give community members time post giveaway to play and comment on the game.

   To qualify you should for example explain how much you enjoyed or didn't enjoy playing the game, what kept you playing the game, what you liked or didn't like as well as suggestions for improvement etc.

   Each week the best, or if I think two or more community members wrote decent feedback, each will be awarded a game of their choice from the list below. I will be adding more titles as time permits. Depending on the commercial value of the game you choose, I may even award two games based on the choices you make. For this reason I ask that you select at least three or more games in order of preference from the list and post them at the end of your feedback. All winners will receive their keys via the email they provided in the comments section. If you have provided a throwaway email, I won't be able to send you any keys, so please make sure i have a valid email, thank you. The list is split up to help me locate the keys in my documents as each section is on a different document.

   Some of the games may be repeated but many of the games only listed once also have multiple keys for example the Alien Shooter games listed in the March 18th list. I have at least 20 keys for each game, and many of those listed in the same list at least 10 keys each. Most keys are at least duplicated, but not all. Once a game is no longer available it will be struck through and a short message saying no longer available or words to that effect. I may list the community member who received the key.

   TY for your time and effort in GGOTD. TY for being good to community members here. I believe I am one of those yu owed a game to. I heard call of Juarez was a good western. The last couple of weekends, I have not seen any signs of Swampy. I guess because when I go to site GOTD, the moderators have taken care of it. TY to all the Moderators. couple months ago I believe it was him that ruined my Downlods, speed or whatever. In the middle of the say 32 mins. it would pause or be interrupted (Maybe Swampy). Then at the end win10 would say No Good. One day I had to start again 3, 4 times, it was frustrating but I got it done in the end. I sort of learned that as soon as "Interupted" occurs may as well start the 32 mins all over again from beginning- faster in the end. Played a couple levels of Child Hospital Angelic HOG. I did not enjoy it. Guess I am not a HOG type person. I can move on to next weekend. Everyone have a good day.

   I i'm having a hard time with this as I haven't played any of the games being given away.
   You see I am to poor to purchase any games at this time and I rely on you and your team to help me get games I can play off line as I have to go to a place with free wifi to get on line just to see what might be offered this weekend ,so I have come across another roadblock to being able to having something I can play with out having wifi ,Looking at your page is the first thing I do on the weekend and I really enjoy the games you offer ( HOG'S ,SPORTS, CHALLENGES MIND GAMES ) I don't like shooting games much as i'm more into fun then trying to take someone out (though I would like something that would involve some sort of target shooting or skill shooting) so sadly I can not leave feedback on any of the games being offered as I have not played them ( I only get my games from you as I trust there will not be any bad things attached to the download ) maybe i'm to green or to safe to try any other sites for games but i only get my games from you and I would like to say thank you for this web page you make my days much better by offering free safe games and I truly appreciate this everyday

   Blue Unicorn, unless I'm mistaken the comments don't close so you could post a comment a few days (or more) after the giveaway ends. Additionally, you could probably also post a positive comment about a previous game by the same publisher.

   WR is trying to generate some positivity in the comment section since it's pretty unlikely that a publisher would look at the negativity and say "Boy, I want to get in on that! Sign me up for a bucket-load of bile! Heck, it's a weekend... make it two bucket-loads!"

   Blue Unicorn, Chris is correct on both counts. I wish the community could see the sense in what I've been trying to say for a long time. I'm sure most do, but there is still a minority of so called community members who either don't care, are trying to deliberately cause problems or really do not understand the simple concept of being so negative will drive developers from giving away their games.

   You have until Saturday morning from the previous weekends games to post a comment. That gives a minimum of five days if you are posting about a Sunday game and six days if you are posting about a Saturday game, though I may extend the Sunday game, so that winners of that particular giveaway have the same time to post, i.e. six days.

   So far I've added just over 90 games, with more to follow. I will be adding the games I originally posted last year as there were over a hundred in that list. Which was basically abandoned after I became bogged down with trying to sort who got what. I'm hoping this new method won't be as taxing to my tired head, lol.

   Thanks John, will need to find the document first to make sure where i am with it all. I always honor my commitments, though sometimes it can take a long time (for example I promised a game to a giveaway member over 4 years ago. Trouble is I have over a thousand disks of backed up games as well as Tera bytes of external storage most of which I never referenced. I've been slowly adding everything to a good data base that scans my disks, then places them in the database. Trouble is, it's time consuming, for example, I backed up many of the games directly from where they were installed, rather than just the executable and document with the activation code. instead I created executable registry files that add the activation codes , but those files take much longer to scan. The last time i did it, a particular disk took over a day to scan, whereas another one that was full of executable files only took minutes. I've still not found the game i promised, but once it's found the community member will get it. :)

   ...Here is a review of a Steam game I'm currently playing. Right now I am a little frustrated as I can't get past level 3. Desert Thunder is a tank game. Tanks cannon and a minigun for weapons. There is a lot of driving in the senarios as well for those who like the driving games. The map is huge which is good, and not too confusing either. The graphics are good, only a little old. Ammo and tank health foat's to drive over. I never tried but there is supposed to be some cheat codes for unlimited ammo etc... It's actually quite a simple game which I really enjoy; But it also has a lot- interesting things, differing obstacles, objects to blast, various enemies, and fun fun fun. Object is for your tank to say alive and accomplish differing missions like destroy 3 buildings, or protect oil refinery for a certain amount of time. I have played for 2 or 3 weeks now and I am not even close to being sick of this game. A great Game ... Hav fun.

   Hi Philip, not got past that stage myself yet. It's on sale with 90% off at the moment. I love tank games. I remember buying my first tank game simply called Tank, way back in the early 90's. The graphics were virtually line drawings, similar to the F19 game that was released with a little shading. Despite the basic graphic, I loved the game and played it to distraction virtually every day for months until a space oriented game was released that I couldn't stop playing together with an rpg called Darklands.

    I think you will have earned another key as well tinyearl for your comment today (Sunday). Will sort it before next weekend. Been snowed under for ages. plus I'm totally disorganized. got a taxman visiting me this week and need to find receipts etc otherwise I'm going to have to pay thousands in back taxes - ouch!

    Had to re-register; it kept telling me I don't exist :). Thank you SO much, WR, for the freebie. My three choices are Left in the Dark, Nightmares from the Deep 2, Nightmares from the Deep 1 (or any adventure/HOG/puzzle thingie you think I'll love :)). Will I have to install the Steam client? (You know I always hate anything that makes me feel 'insecure' :) but this is probably fine!) Many hugs!

    Thank you for offering me a license code for a game. Somehow I've red all your messages but the final part of only one I just did not saw, and because Delenn told me about this, I only found out yesterday, if not, who knows when, if ever ...LOL

    So, it is very kind of you to give something to me; I did not do it for a reward or something. If I can be of help with something I can help, please do ask me about it.
    I would have liked to win a Whispering Willows license, and if you do not have a spare, I would like a license code for City of Chains, since I have not yet played an rpgmaker game with that kind of design, and of course, people are not complaining about it having unfixed bugs :D
