Forums don't stand the test of time- when months fly by-& is no good posts or any, then forum is lousey..Not a fan of HOG's but I did play Moment of Time,, just ok or 7.. I like shooters or simple games..On a forum years ago I went by Moniquer (Title) of Turtle because I am in no rush..Never in a hurry..Everyone stay well..

Whiterabbit- you didn't receive my email back to you last week? I had mentioned that Steam's friend search apparently doesn't like capital letters in the middle. I discovered when I searched for myself after your email that QunMang would result in nothing found, but qunmang and Qunmang would work. I also had trouble sending you an invite as it said your friends list was full (tried a few days following), but you must have leveled up or cleaned your list in the last few days as it just worked today. Request was sent to Whiterabbit-uk (since you mention a second account).

Posted a review of 'Heaven Island', but wasn't sure it took as it didn't say anything about moderator review or anything, so I tried again, hopefully didn't make you review twice, but it never said anything after "submit" and I didn't see one last I checked, didn't want to do it a third time, and since I don't have a VR headset, it mostly was similar to your points.
See your offering some new titles, on Orgin and such, and would like to be considered for those please, would like;
Batman Arkham City/Arkham Origins
Far Cry 3 or Max Payne 3
Battlefield 3 or ArmA II & 3, or any shooter as I find those the most fun. Thanks again for the nice things you do for everyone, and hope everything is going well, my friend who pays attention to the planets says things are supposed to get better for most after June 29th, which is not to far off, hope so as it's been a tough time for us as well.

With respect to the higher end games such as Batman Arkham City/Arkham Origins
Far Cry 3, Max Payne 3, Battlefield 3, and the ArmA franchise. I will probably be saving those for when I open up the new review site to the community. I want to have some high profile AAA games to basically 'entice' community members over to the site. I won't be giving them all away at once either. Until the site has become established (assuming I will be able to continue to write decent reviews that people want to read) I will spread those games out over an unspecified period of time. As I've never undertaken such a project and the fact that there is a lot of competition between game review sites I'm trying to find a formula that works and will be different to the norm. One of the things we intend is to make the site an advert free zone. Most if not all game review sites that I've seen that are popular also have adverts included in their pages. This is probably so that they earn cash to make the site viable. The main difference with our site is that it is totally voluntary. There will be no income stream earned and contributions will be made in my own time with no remuneration. In fact I will over time have invested quite a lot of money via the games I will be giving away; (literally thousands of pounds worth), and the time invested in the project, which I anticipate will be a serious amount of my spare time. Thankfully I love to play games, so it should be a pleasure to do once the initial hurdles have been overcome. Also, the owner of the site has to pay for the bandwidth, which has been offered to me for free. So both of us will be losing money through this project. I just hope I have enough dedication to make the project work successfully.
Eventually I'm hoping that others will join us and post their own views on the games they most enjoy. What I would really like to see is different viewpoints for each game reviewed, i..e both negative and positive as this will then give a well balanced overall picture of the game being reviewed. One of the only things I have concerns over is doing video reviews. I'm not that confident about having my voice over on a game I've recorded because I think my tone is rather boring, but it may be necessary as most game review sites use a combination of written, image and video material to review their games. (I could use one of those voice changing programs perhaps, lol)
At the moment the site is still under development and needs a lot of work, and as yet I've only posted two reviews so far and those still need updating, or are only part finished. I've just not had the time to devote as much time as I'd like to my gaming interests recently, I've purchased over 200 games over the last three weeks and have only played a tiny fraction of them so far. Even the games I've been most looking forwards to playing such as the latest Total War: Warhammer 40 000, Doom and Mirrors Edge: Catalyst (released last week) remain virtually un-played. With my children's exams, building work and problems with tenants in one of my properties, and legal issues that need to be resolved urgently as well as other stuff, I've been a little distracted of late; (apart from my children's exams which thankfully finished yesterday) and still have a lot on my mind that is distracting me from this project.
I will endevour to have the site up and running in the not too distant future. Though it's most likely not going to be until late August at the earliest. We are going to the Black Sea on vacation in about 5 weeks. As I tend to be tied to my hotel room most of the time due to my disabilities, I intend spending some of the time working on the reviews I want to include. We shall have to see how I progress over that time. In the mean time there will still be lots of arcade games available. I have more games to add to the list posted above, but haven't had time to decide which ones I want to add yet. I want to give a well rounded choice of genres, so as not to skew the list in favour of certain game types.
Unfortunately this particular personal giveaway project has impacted on my time a lot more than I'd anticipated it would considering the other issues I'm trying to resolve at this time. I didn't think it would take up so much time when I started it, but I blame myself for not being as organized as I should be. :)

Reposting as well, Hi JBurt. I like Betrayer as well. RoboRumble seems good too, an old build robots and battle them game with low system requirements- good. Betrayer seems to be set in NewFrance, or 13 colonies. But game is not old- even if yu get to use crossbow to shoot.. philipgreenwood64@outlook.com

Hi PJFlinn, will sort something for you. The main probl3m I have is everything is on my wrecked comouter. Until I get my new motherboard delivered (which I ordered a week ago), I can't access any of the data. All of the codes i have are stupidly stored on that computer, tohugh i do have access to a lot via the various indie bundle account. I'll see if I can find a couple of extra keys for the games you wish to have. I'm sure I have more as most of those I listed were duplicates. I kept at least one copy of all of the games i listed becasue i will be running competitions as well as giving keys to those that make an effort to post on the new site that Whizzy created for me. :)
To Edward, please excuse the late reply; as mentioned elsewhere, my main computer has been offline since last Sunday and has casued problems accessing varios sites because all of my passwords are stored in a note book on my main computer. I really need to make a hard copy of them all. Also, I've not visited the giveaway site until this weekend so have only just seen your comment above. Please don't worry about spelling or grammar. You don't even need to write in sentences or paragraphs, you can bullet point or number the ideas, the problems, what you like, what you don't like, what you'd like to see different etc.
I remember when I took on a temporary teaching job where a teacher had just walked out on the school. He taught all of the lower end of the school; basically the bottom classes in every year, and had almost had a nervous breakdown. In my first week I asked a student a question (I was teaching Chemistry) and he'd replied that he didn't have a clue because he was thick. I was quite shocked at his reply. I responded by asking him the names of all of the footballers in the local team (Manchester United). Being a famous team, most people into football would be able to name most of the first team. This pupil not only named the first, but all of the reserves as well. I reponded by telling him that I wouldn't have been able to name any of the team, so would that make me thick? I remember the light that appeared in his eyes (and other students), from that moment on, I gained the trust of that class and many of the students who thought they couldn't learn started to enjoy the classes and their grades improved dramatically. I was shocked to hear on that first day that some teachers at the school had actually called those students thick (and other unsavoury names).
The point is I would never criticise; it's one of the principles I based my teaching on. I always tried to give all students some positive feedback. If the work wasn't up to much I would still find something positive to say, then I would tell them how it could be improved. :)

I missed your last one even though I posted a long comment after your post. I usually post well into the night and am often half asleep while I'm posting, so tend to ignore the posts above. Anyway, I think I've found you on Steam. I've sent a friends request to the only QunMang that appeared (compared to the last time where I received many). Just to make sure I've sent my friends request to the correct person does your profile show 12 Labours of Hercules, 12 Labours of Hercules II: The Cretan Bull and Hidden Object 6-in-1 bundle in your recent activity and is your Steam level 12 and your avatar a question mark? I like your comment about kids being differently smart. People are intelligent in all sort of ways. Some are good with plants, for instance. I respect that aptitude as anything green I touch dies - even cacti. Worse thing you can do is put someone down by calling them dumb. It sticks to you. Kids never forget how that bad that insult make them feel.

...Dana I agree. When my HD failed on my PC I was offline for 3 months or so. In the end it was simple and inexpensive to fix (New HD). I guess I could have fixed it sooner, but I wanted the rest and a break from Computer. I think I am an actict again. Joined steam now. Looking forward Stephen to another shooter like the Masked Shooter GGOTD.. When yu get to it is fine, I got this one to play now..I'm thinking of going back to my old call sign of "Turtle". I don't think I'd win; the; vs; White Rabit..Ha Ha !!! Bye All, stay Well..

I admire you guys that can play Shooters - can't hit the broad side of a barn myself. Know what you mean though Philip: I've a ton of games to play. More into puzzles and HOGs and now Visual Novels (which from what I've seen so far aren't very game like - no options to choose how the story will go). Got a good few through an Indiegala bundle, so perhaps others have more interaction possibilities.
Got a ton of HOGS through the Giveaway site too, so I'm good to game when my paws are too tired from crafting. :) Do hope Mr. Whiterabbbit gets his own compy workspace again. Feels a little odd to not to set your own online time as you like, to me anyway. :)

Hi Mikiem, thanks fopr your feedback. I don't use Windows journal. I have all of the codes stored on a Word document at the moment. I ordered a new motherboard over a month ago but it didn't arrive in time for me to fix my main computer before I went on vacation. I wanted to replace the motherboard with the same model I used for the original build. but becasue it was discontinued I had to purchase a second hand one which it transpires was an oversea's purchase, so the delivery took a lot longer than usual. I could access the document by removing the SSD from the computer and reconnecting it to the computer I'm using at the moment, but because I have three SSD's installed in my main computer (all three are the same make and size), I'm not sure which one has the data stored on it, (I didn't bother to make a note of the drive with windows installed on it), so decided to leave it until I've replaced the motherboard, which i'll be doing once I've settled back into home life.
I'm still exhausted from my vacation as I did a lot more than I usually do on my vacations. Since my accident I've usually been stuck in the hotel room watching DVD's with the occasional trip out with my family, because most activities leave me in chronic pain, but this year I made a massive effort to do more because my wife was left on her own for the first few days of the vacation because our teenage kids wanted to do their own thing. For the first time since my accident (now almost 11 years ago) I actually managed to do some activities virtually every day for the whole of the vacation (apart from the firt few days); for example, we visited the petrified forest near Varna (a two hour drive from our resort) as well as visiting an ancient monastery located in the side of a cliff, plus for the first time ever I went snorkling in the sea (every day) and throughly enjoyed it, even tohugh I was left in a lot of pain (I just took an exta oxy tablet each evening to ease the pain).
I've never been a confident swimmer ever since being dunked by a masochistic life guard at my local swimming pool when I was learning to swim as a five/six year old while on a school visit to the local baths. The same guy used to dunk me virtually every week for over a year, so I started to skip swimming lessons and avoided anything to do with water sports. Conversly my wife comes from a family seriously into water sports (they used to own a motor launch and went water skiing, sailing and surfing every summer) as well as my brother in law being one of the UK's top pool divers back in the 1980's. Also, my wife used to compete nationally in various pool events (butterfly was her speciality) and used to go to the pool every morning from 5a.m. for a couple of hours before school for years. So I was totally shocked to find I loved snorkling and am now determined to get some swimming lessons so that I can do more with my wife. :)

I've made a note of all the games owed to you guys. As mentioned in my reply to Mikiem above, I'd hoped to send you all the promised/requested codes, but because my daughter fried my motherboard a few weeks before we were due to go away and the one I'd ordered didn't arrive until we'd left the UK, I wasn't able to sort the codes for you before I went away. Rest assured once I've replaced the mother board, one of the first things I will do once I've reinstalled windows is find the document that has the codes recorded and send them to you.
I'll probably start working on the computer sometime later this week, but I won't make any definite promises until it's done. I can only apologise for the time it's taking to sort everything out.
When I restart giving out codes (probably not until the review site is officially open) I will be doing it slightly differently so as to make sure there's no back logs again.
To Mavadelo/Whizzy, just as soon as I've 'recovered from my vacation (I did far more than I'm used to and am totally wiped at the moment). I will get down to some serious work on the web site. It will probably be better if I wait until my wife is back at work a week on Tuesday (She always has a six week vacation each summer) as I promised her we would do lots of things together over the next week.
In the mean time I will be making copies of as many of the reviews I've written in readiness for transferring over to the new site. I do want to edit and in some cases totally re-write many of the reviews I've posted over the last eight years. All reviews posted prior to 2015 will also require new screen captures of the games because the image host I used to use suddenly closed (with no warning), so I wasn't able to recover any of the images I'd uploaded. That alone is going to be a massive job, but it will need to be done.
I'd also like to start making videos of game play but don't know where to start. I have the software, but am still very shy with respect to doing voice overs while playing as I think my voice is rather boring and is more than likley going to put anyone watching the video's to sleep, (lol)

I hope you got my message via Steam messenger. I sent a couple several days ago in reply to the ones you'd sent when I finally managed to log into my Steam account (the hotel wi fi was appallingly slow and intermittent, partly due to scores of teenages sitting in the hotel reception with their eyes glued to iPads and iPods taking most of the bandwidth the hotel had to offer.
I was exhausted for virtually the whole of the vacation because I was doing far more than I'd ever done since my accident 11 years ago. By the evenings I didn't have the energy or the enthusiasm to log into my Steam account or any other account, instead I'd put on one of the many DVD's I'd packed and fall asleep. :)
