Another announcement I’d like to make concerns the naming of the project. When I originally started the project I never anticipated that it would last beyond Christmas. In fact I really only thought that there would be enough decent freeware games for the project to last no more than four or five weeks at the most and then only posting one game a day during the week days. That has long since been shown to not be the case as there are a multitude of good freeware and abandonware games out there, and more joins the list almost on a daily basis.
I realize that some of the older games may not look like much, but we do try and find games that both play well, have good game play and look good. Anyway, considering this, I would like the community to come up with a better , catchier sounding name for the project as opposed to Week bla bla bla free games for the weekdays - as it sounds so boring. I suppose it does enable you to find games from the project a little easier (which is why I’ve been loath to change it for so long), but I am addressing that problem with the games synopsis. With respect to the game synopsis, I do intend placing all the games into genres and alphabetical order sometime soon so as to facilitate finding games that you like. If you could start posting your ideas for a new free games thread I’d be most grateful; and in a few weeks time or maybe earlier I’ll check them out and choose three or four which ill throw back at you and we can vote on them. :)
