Scubaguy.
Hi. Long time, no communicate. I have been in and out of this website many times, just never took the time to post. (Hated to use the threads to say "Hey" and probably shouldn't now either, but can't e-mail you.) Robert, and I thank his patience and fortitude, helped me with my last problem as you did previously.
You said playing, I am planting - might be considered playing if my livelyhood didn't depend on the results. The weather (COLD & WET) has been atrocious here this year and we started the planting, when we should have been finished.
Oh, well. We take what we get and make the best of it.
Have a great one.

OldandSlo ... . Three Score? whoa ... if a score is a notational arrangement of music, can I be 'Aquarium' by Saint Saens? My second and third choices would be 'Nights in White Satin' by the Moody Blues and 'Iron Butterfly Theme' by the inimitable Iron Butterfly.
OH ... Pleased to make your acquaintance. It's nice to have talents recognized by my peers (muahhahahaha)
Paulga: thanks for the link/picture.. cute one.
OldandSlo: we just put in some canteloupe seeds earlier, not safe to plant here 'til Mid May when all danger of frost is past. What type of farming do you do?
OldandSlo..........yep i can always take a hint......pushed,.. never....old soldier! we just fade away....i just love going in an opposite direction...suddenly.....fast and furious...but kindly

Has anyone else noticed the tags generated for this thread? Hand and Foot ? Betting?
It's worth making new threads just to see what tags will be generated for 'em :)
Bobby.
You can be "Whatever floats your boat".
I'm going nite-nite now. Morning comes too early for me to be here even now.
A full day (of four letter word) coming again!
Have a great one!
BYE. BYE.

Copmom, especially, and everyone.
One last post then I'm "outta here".
We do the regular grain farming here in the eastern Corn Belt.
We used to raise hogs too, but took a bath in red ink in the late 90's and got out of that.
Pleased to meet everyone. And, thanks for the kind words!!!!
Have a great one.
Terry
OldandSlo.. maybe this year there will be 3 crops of feed grain here .. local farmers had to sell their cattle because they couldn't feed them, last year was a drought.
Sleep tight... and don't let the bedbugs bite!
OH and someone earlier, (Bobby), said they were the oldest... NOT! I still hold that title!
Nah .... that was Pretzel....wasn't it? Besides, it isn't chronological scorekeeping that matters .. it's the mileage on the odometer. I'd offer mine as proof but it went AWOL sometime during my first enlistment. Or was it the Marine Corp wife years? Sigh .. now where did I put that Geritol?
G'night, OldandSlow .. will catch up with you tomorrow. Sleep well.
Then I guess my odometer still has a ways to go. LOL Actually, our car is a 2002 and only has 30,000 miles on it.. so maybe I've gotten OldandSlo too? And if the gas keeps going up, will have to get me a motor scooter! Can you picture someone hauling a whole weeks worth of groceries 5 miles up a hill on a scooter?? LOL Could get a side cart I suppose?
I never posted that I thought I was the oldest. Show me that post and I will eat it.
Sigh ... I'm going to chalk up this entire day to persistent chemo-fog complicated by a lack of quality fishing time, and then I'm going to sleep. My apologies to you, Pretzel, for misreading a thread where Archangel wrote *to* you, saying that he thought he was the eldest.
@Copmom: sure, you can have a side car! I'll throw in one of those suitcase carrier thingys we used to call a 'seabag drag.' Might be a bit tricky in winter weather ... so don't forget your helmet!
That's okay, Bobby. I really wanted to see that post because I'm very hungry!
I've saved most of the "story" on my PC.....someday we can finish it.....or at least continue it. I like the way you write.
Hey Guys!
Well, I'm late to the party, as usual......turned 49 last Saturday, means that for at least one more year I can say "who me? in my 40's, thank you" (and I thought I was too old for this sandbox!).
hamstergirl - Happy Belated Birthday!
I find it hilarious that something which most people are reticent to discuss has brought so many people together and out of the woodwork. I hope that more people will feel encouraged to contribute to this forum here, the more, the merrier. And in a nice and civilised way.
Thanks especially to Buckleysmom, Copmom and Funkymom who encouraged me to post in the beginning, you fine ladies are awesome.
Hi All.
A new day and a new chance.
Since I have already posted my age as 3 score and 3, I was going to post this last night when I was on here. (But my brain was too muddled to function properly.) My father told me, more than once as I recall, when I was doing something less than desirable, "I am old enough to know better, but too young to resist". I guess that also goes with the fact that I know just enough to get into trouble, (Computers....wait, MANY other things also qualify.) but not enough to get out.
As I've heard said many times, "Catch you on the flip side".
I must earn a living now. BYE. BYE.
Everyone have a great one!!
(I'm just full of......cliches, that is. LOL)
Terry

maizydaze - *ROFLMAO* ..... whew, thanks, that was wonderful! You know, there was a time, way back when - and I mean waaay back, where that was my music of choice - yeah, just call me hamsterpunk....you have no idea how hard it is to get that blue hair dye out of your fur!!!
Hamstergirl, You're welcome!
Whoopsie - playing forum tag there for a minute.....
Hey,hamstergirl, same for me..."music of choice". I've got to admit, I still enjoy it, though! I'll never grow up!
52 in September !
But I don't feel a day over 19 in my heart !
In body, it's another thing on some days, but not as a rule ;)
Observation.. isn't it strange, chronologically we know how old we are, but our brains are all telling us differently! My brain says 17, but the body is withering away!
Copmom....The saying goes, "You're only as old as you feel " (which is usually taken to mean physically), I think it should be, "You're only as old as you THINK", or "You're only as old as your dreams". :)
BK.. I think you said it right!! Any of those would be good.
Hey hamstergirl, long time no speak. Where have you been?
