   creamypretzel..............oops i know ! no excuse ! well an old camera i keep in my pocket with bits of string, screws, buttons, one shoelace, a dried newt, some old partly used chewing gum "for an emergency", and an old lace hanky that used to smell of perfume but for some reason has lost its scent that my first girlfriend gave me back in 1960 while we had rumpty dumpty in the back of her grandmothers car ( a Ford ) which smelled of snuff,the car that is!.........ah yes, oops sorry i drifted there, i am getting a new camera apart from the focus, its like a donation box.......smiling now ! the memory!

   creamypretzel...........yep a dried newt, it was given to me by an African Witchdoctor, bag provided, with some small bones that made it sound like a childs rattler and some dried soil, i think the soil seeped out and got on my camera lens.....any excuse!
   it was a fertility thing, he offered me what was i suppose the first ... aid, it must have worked because i never burst out laughing since......and the newt still has all his legs

   Paulga.....and they say women carry useless stuff in their purses! I can't think of anything that would be enough of an emergency to make you want to chew that gum.....eeeeeewwwwwwww......lol

    the gum isn't for chewing, it's for when he needs to get out of a fix, a la macgyver. and considering all the contents of paul's pockets, he could probably get out of any jam.

    Well folks i just popped in !.......and was i surprised ! bowled over...and all because i said snuff ? its just as well i didnt mention what i have in my several other pockets ?
    1. The old lace hanky that used to smell of perfume, is to remind me of "the used to be" but just like the perfume fading, so is the memory.
    2. There are two old buttons, one to remind me what my Mother said, always wear clean underwear, in case i have an accident, the second button is to remind me i have a spare pair in another pocket......"with things"
    3. The old shoe lace reminds me that i should always stand on two feet while in the boat.
    4. The Screws remind me that when i was divorced in the 70's there were no palimony laws and if it were today i would have been screwed.
    5. The pieces of string i attach to the old chewing gum (when moist) to retrieve things i might let fall down a shore or grating,they tie together as required in depth.
    6. The Newt may come into use again, should my old ailment return,but i think i am cured?
    7. Purchased a Camera today.....creamy...am nearly in focus...but redeye ??

    I saw Paulga's Doppelgänger at a yard sale today! He wasn't wearing waders or holding a huge fish in his hands, but he did have a battered and very dusty old camera and the bag-o-newt! He was rummaging through a box containing bits of hardware, screws, nuts, bolts, etc. I'm assuming he was looking to add some small items to his pocket. When he looked at me, smiled then said "hello", I half expected him to have an Irish accent. He didn't but I asked him if he might have a newt in his pocket? "Yes", he said, "and another to spare in my boat." Amazing!

    maizeydaze........there is a Paulga Mark 11, i will post his antics soon, i think i have ruled muself from the idea you all had to post pictures of ourselves and guess who?
    but Paulga Mark 11 has the same accent as i, even his wife gets it wrong when i phone,the short film is from Swedish TV, and note for the future its a childrens program, however shocking, i have to work out how to post it......thinking!

    the guy called Ben Friendly is my youngest offspring....real name Paul he hosts and writes the show....for kiddies, his accent is as like mine so is the voice tone, if you type into google search for Paul Nulty he covers the first few pages...well almost three,photography and media is his area, in Ireland, Holland,London uk, and Sweden, dont know why he set for this show, married in Sweden as a result i have to grandchildren....didnt know you were a Sweden addict....must have missed out on that.

    graylox.....yep i am a Far Far twice over.....next time you contact your Daughter find out what she thinks of the quizbiz, its on the State run Station, Stockholm.

    maizeydaze........its a weird program.....and for kids.....dont know what to make of it, then again i am told he bahaves like me.....noooooooooway....i think.
    the personality he takes is a person who loves himself, as you will note by the quiz.
    naughty......yup.

    Paulga, our two princesses are too young for this program, but I'll ask my daughter, as she is studying pedagogic, she will be interested in such questions.

    graylox.........we all seem to be making connections this date, my two svensk barnbarn are girls also, we had a family re union at Christmas here in Ireland ( yep thats where i am )
    we met in Limerick,Ireland, the Swedish Clan,The London uk Clan," and they threw in two of my ex wives for good measure " now there is another story there?......i am unable to visit Sweden....because of all the pets, i have to get a pet minder to stay in my house to care for them, and its not easy, my oldest dog frets and wont eat whilst i am away so i wont put her into dog care, she is the one has never left my side for nearly 14 years so i could not be so cruel. Oh i knew you were based in Berlin....i joined the forum 9 months ago but kept my silence.....newt problem, oh Pedagogic, something to do with jewish relegious study....or media? not sure.
