   Yeah, I noticed it too. The GiveAway changed at exactly midnight, but the refresh didn't bring up a game. Maybe they were tired yesterday for all the translation problems and went home early :)

    if it ain't here now, tomorrow is the next chance for another game. only re-releases for bugfixes make a dual day, not a day no author agreed to put one up.

    #4 shadowm, I totally agree, I thought I had done something wrong (I am not a Techie) with an ad-blocker I installed yesterday, but fortunately not so. Thank goodness for this Forum so one knows others are in the same boat, helps keep you sane ;)

    Hey, one day out of a hundred or so. Not a bad deal for free, even if some are repeats. I've built three computers since last March, so all the games before then I'm happy to see. I've got games up to the top of my head, besides for me it's like a day off lol.

    I got withdrawal symptoms so logged on to my favorite games shop, checked out the bargain bin and came away with three; for the same price as a standard arcade game I'm getting Elite Warriors - Vietnam, Grand Theft Auto III and Lemmings Revolution. That last one I've been meaning to get for ages, now it's costing me a little over $6. Great stuff. I also ordered that game that's being released tomorrow where Winston Churchil died after being hit by a Taxi on 5th Ave in New York (true but obviously he didn't die) , the Germans won WWII, they developed some pretty nifty weapons and invaded America in the 50's. The main character is a construction worker who joins the resistance. Sounds like a great plot and it's my favorite genre as well (fps) oh yeah it's called Turning Point: Fall of Liberty.

    Drat - I missed yesterday's board game which looked quite interesting. Perhaps GGAOTD could try and get developers to agree to an auto-repeat for one day on the blessedly few times there's no new offer?

    Hey, I'm not complaining, since I've gotten so many great games from here over the last 8 months. Everyone needs a day off! (I'm still stuck on Ice Cream Tycoon)

    I would only reccommend that maybe they post a page for today, saying something like "No New Games today, but check out our sponsors" with some links or something??? Just seems kind of like they're wasting a space when advertizing could be filling it in? I'm off to look for a game I'd actually pay for... so it only seems logical that maybe a link on today's page for a new game would help this site get their sponsors to donate more games!

    Also it would ease the rest of our minds, human nature to ask the "Why" question, ya know?

    I know EXACTLY what u mean!!
    I only read for a long time here, b4 even register!! Most forums out there are scary, ppl are not very nice.
    It's completely different here. Very nice ppl, very friendly, very helpful. Don't be shy about being a tech newbie, we all are!! Everybody is learning from each other, and having a lot of fun in the process. Most of us are quite silly. Also, if anybody gets out of line, don't worry, our MisterB takes care of that pronto (He is the Commander.in.Chief 'round here). We all feel very safe bc he doesn't allow pushing & shoving or bad manners.
    I wrote something about all this the other day HERE
    Can't write more now, problem w my arm, otherwise I would ramble on & on...

    PS: Where are u from?? Doesn't say anything in ur profile. We all are from all over the world, so it's hard to keep up...
