but I failed miserably to identify the item, so I'll try to confuse the issue.
up front, most of you haven't seen too many of these naked. and the whole thing's only 5mm across. (2/10ths of an inch)

a baby-jellyfish
if not, then I have to sleep some hours, before my next guess - zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Posted 16 years ago # -
nope, it's not alive, but there are lots of them around us these days.
Posted 16 years ago # -
Thinking of maizey and scuby, they have quite a lot of snowflakesaround them. Before I went to bed for 3 hrs. ago, we had some too - 2. time this winter ! - but now they are all gone, and pollen took over again. That's not normal, second winter in a row, that people had their summer-flowers on their balcony. I'm really scary about good old earth like I know it.

Good morning to everyone! I slept an exceptionally long time, for me; seven and one half hours. It's usually about 4 or 5.
600+ posts is quite impressive. What does that say for us? Come on tell me.
My cat, Kirby, almost over-night, developed huge mats in his fur. He started to get them last week and I got as much combed out as possible on one day. There was only a small one on his chest near the left leg and one on his left side. I had to stop working on them because it hurt him too much. The next day he had more mats and the 2 that were left got bigger. Tried to get them out but I couldn't without hurting him. Today I taking him to a groomer, a very good friend, to be shaved. This happened last year, only in January, and had him shaved. Here are some pictures of Kirby shaved. He was so embarrassed!

Back to MD LUCKY #13: It is not fish food or 'flavored' couscous. You are getting close to the actual size. This is not a "food" that you would eat all alone, rather something you would add to other food.

goodgotd - You have no patience for this game when I'm asleep or away... I hope your pic is not another obscure/obsolete piece of computer technology. Is it?Hope you foot heals now that you got the wood out. Still feel like you're getting flu or cold?
=======================
Graylox - I know what you are saying about unusual weather. 2 weeks ago temperatures were around 0 degrees Fahrenheit, last weekend in the 30's with about 10 inches of snow, this Monday it got up to 60 degrees (80 in the sun), yesterday was in the 40's and rained all day, today there will be heavy wind and more snow with a high of 34 but will feel like 20 degrees. Fickle?Posted 16 years ago # -
chilli-flakes ?
Posted 16 years ago # -
Oh, poor Kirby ! Have you got to compromise him in the whole WWW ? He does not look very amused about that.
Posted 16 years ago # -
good is #13 some kind of element for a bulb? And you mean you've been walking around with a big wood splinter all this time?? OUCH! Did you get a tetanus shot for it?
maizy.. is it a seasoning like garlic salt?
And Kirby's pictures look like my hound "Lady" right now.. 2 big bald spots from lumps the vet removed.. one above her tail and one on her side. Since she's a hound and long, she didn't have to wear one of those stupid "lampshade" things since she couldn't reach the stitches.

graylox - You won once AGAIN with chilli-flakes!

Here is the picture of Crushed Pepper Flakes.

Graylox, this PRIZE is especially for you!

Gotta run now to take Kirby to the groomer.Posted 16 years ago # -
YIPPPYYY - some more millions ! Maizey I'll buy that fishing-shack and a nice toupee for Kirby !
Posted 16 years ago # -
graylox, congratulations, great guess and greater prize! LOL
Hope everyone's feeling a bit better today.. what's interesting about people that did get the flu shot is it was announced that it didn't cover the flu that's going around! One reason we never take the flu shot!

morning, all, yes, that was a reasonably respectable splinter, and I've not been awake long enough to tell if that 'ol debble floo has me or not.
another obscure/obsolete piece of computer technology
no, this is quite modern, indeed. I have one lined up that probably is obsolete, but not computer related.
good is #13 some kind of element for a bulb?
This is gonna blow it's cover, but while it isn't a bulb, that picture is a reflector for light. you've all probably seen these, just not from the side.
chili seeds. don't recall seeing any that color, darn it.

Kirby and I are back from the groomer. He was very good and calm while being shaved. That still did not keep him from getting a cut on his tail. He is not very happy with me right now and is holed-up somewhere, pouting. He looks like a little lion. See pictures below.
Poor boy has a boo-boo.
Leave me alone.
I said, Leave me alone!! (Looks like I need to run the vacuum.)Posted 16 years ago # -
Tell Kirby that I feel with him; I too hate to go to the hair-dresser.
Posted 16 years ago # -
I have a few more up my sleeve. Do you want to ponder What is it? #14?
----------------------------------------
Graylox - Kirby asks that you send out that toupee next day air. He is embarassed and a little cold. He says, "thank you". ;)
-----------------------------------------
copmom - Is Lady ok? The lumps weren't bad ones, were they?
-----------------------------------------
A friend and old childhood neighbor, who now lives in the Houston, Texas area sent an email, with pictures, telling me it snowed there yesterday. He's been there for 27 years and this is the first time he ever saw snow in March.March snow in Texas (Graylox - That weather thing, again!)

Tell Kirby, the toupee is being made.Posted 16 years ago # -
graylox - Sorry, but that was a good guess. I like how you circled the area you thought it resembled.
Kirby says, "Thanks, again."

Hi again maizey :)
Is it one of those mini candles? btw....Kirby looks like one nasty hombre in that last pic!
Posted 16 years ago # -

Kirby is actually the sweetest cat and has been laying on my lap purring for the last hour. He wasn't screaming at me in that last picture. He was just answering me when I said his name while trying to get his attention for the camera. The flash in his eyes and him saying "what?", are what made him appear angry.Have I ever got a PRIZE for you!
Posted 16 years ago # -
It looks like the bottom of a Lazy Susan or maybe the tire from a kids wagon!
Suki
Oh dang, do I get a consolation prize, lol!
Posted 16 years ago # -
graylox - Kirby just loves the Mohawk! He had one last year and all the young lady pussies were falling all over him. PURRRRRRRRRRRFECT!
Posted 16 years ago # -
for kirby:
Posted 16 years ago # -
suki, what is a Lazy Susan ???
Posted 16 years ago # -
Oh..Funky, those kitty wigs are too much! How about a blue one?
Posted 16 years ago # -
It's a turntable thing-a-ma gig, lol, that you put on your table or in your cabinet to spin spices or food. You will see large ones in Chinese restaurants.
They used to call them lazy Susann's!Suki
