++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Here is your PRIZE! There's a tiny bit of snow on this picture. But I'm longing for spring and warm weather.
Whoops! I didn't have the proper link for the prize. Fixed now.

Another nice pic. This game is alot less stressful than that string game! :) Great prizes too!

I've got one more prize left, so I'm posting one more closeup. This will be a HARD one!;)

A metal colander / strainer?
Posted 16 years ago # -
colanders don't get that scarred. No signs of exhaust or heat, so not a baffle.
Posted 16 years ago # -
hmmm.....a sink drain plug? It is a tough one :)
Posted 16 years ago # -
Ha, ha! Told you it was going to hard! Keep trying.
Posted 16 years ago # -
are we 'in the ballpark'?
Posted 16 years ago # -
kinda looks like a part of a sprayer assembly that's seen hard knocks. those holes never had bolts or pins. perforated tubing of some sort, I'll keep thinking.
Posted 16 years ago # -
funny how the holes look punched then burrs removed, the other side shows it too. dishwasher spray bar?
Posted 16 years ago # -
could be one of those antique style showerheads...
Posted 16 years ago # -
No one is close yet. Remember, this is a fairly common object. Not everyone has one, but some people have many.

antique telephone mouthpiece......? Do we get a hint Maizey? lol
Posted 16 years ago # -
There is hint in my last entry.
Posted 16 years ago # -
GSM - Was picturing your telephone mouthpiece and all I could see was someone scraping their teeth on it to make those marks. LOL Sorry, but that answer is cold.
Posted 16 years ago # -
HINT: It doesn't have anything to do with water.
Posted 16 years ago # -
LOL! Yeah, guess you're right about that :)
This guess is just as dumb as my last one.....Pepper shaker lid? hehe

Posted 16 years ago # -
got an old sweatshirt from hershey, PA. has a bear saying 'give me your chocolate, and nobody gets hurt'
finally got the scale right, and it was obvious.

I'm done, for now. Need a break from the computer. Maybe I'll post another later unless someone else does first. Hint, hint. :)
Posted 16 years ago # -
maybe... hmm.... closeups...
Not tonight, maybe tomorrow I'll light up the ricoh macro machine, see what I can shoot. Most of my closeups are electronics I needed to see better.

The lighter's not too old. It's engraved "Pennsylvania Outdoor Elk Expo 2001". Because it's brass it's soft and tarnishes easily. The lid is kind of a tight fit and scrapes the shield. I have some others that are still in the box, like new.
I don't think I've ever been to Hershey. Driven around the outside of it though.
