Magic Speed found 249 errors in my Com/ActiveX entries. I don’t know whether that is good because I have other programs that should be doing the same.
The fact that it found them shows that it is working.

on that note... I might write a registry scanner that finds every key in the registry (save the ones protected by windows) and deletes them all. I guess it would find about 30,000 keys more than any other tool... that would make it the best registry cleaner of all time - because it find errors others don't.
And it prevents all future errors on your computer too.... because It will no longer boot. :)

they’re actually not lady bugs (although they’re similar in the way they look), you’re talking about japanese beetles. They’re a plague here as well (SE Ohio) every year. They stink, bite, and come by the millions. I still have live beetles in my house from last fall.
For your information, Japanese beetles are a type of scarab, and have visible legs. They also eat plants. Ladybugs keep their legs under their shells, and are carnivorous. Also, Japanese beetles don't come in various shades of red and orange. They're green and brown.

Yeah, let's do it! Instead of having ten viewable movies on ten disks, we can have ten unviewable movies on one disk! What do we have to lose(besides quality and a blank DVD)?

GotD have a new anti-piracy process, they have a specific version (different compilation or something like this) to activate,
not the same one the home site offer.
Sometime it work, but many time it revert after a few day, or like today it is not stable and abruptly shot down,without any notice.somebody slip in a new step on me? 8 months, still wrapper 0.9...

funkymom - Just between you and me, I'll let you in on a little secret, that was me. It was late and I was getting tired of users asking - "Is this program better than what I am using now?". You can see a few times earlier - my replies telling users, "What is 'better'? Just download it and decide for yourself....".
It was going to be - "Will I like this software more than my partner?" But I considered that wouldn't work because not everyone likes your partner. :P
Aaaaargh - will someone PLEASE tell me what to think!

Really, I must say the peanuts site has grown to an intellectual hight, a normal-user has problems to accomplish.
Question: I got Plato .. the outputs are 4.7 gigs. This one says it provides smaller file outputs. ..Can I output to, say, 1.4 gigs or 700 MBs?
As we all know is "Platonism" a term coined by scholars to refer to the intellectual consequences of denying, as Socrates often does, the reality of the material world. So why not provide output files with 000 MBs ?
Can I split the file?
Socrates tells Euthyphro that people can agree on matters of logic and science, and are divided on moral matters, that implicates that you can split the file.

That's ok - if it's an award, I nominate myself for both categories. Now... what did I win?
And as far as keeping the best ones for ourselves - there is a lot of stupid crap that was only ever funny inside the mind of the writer (literally an "inside joke") - some of the things that don't get published are references to competitors products and websites (trust me - we get some posts along the lines of:
"This program is so-so but it cannot do this and that, and this isn't as good as another product I found which you can try from this other website.... when you place an order just tell my brother that ah-kim sent you and I will get $5 and my brother will get rich. Thank you for your consideration" - ok the fact that it isn't their own website doesn't get disclosed - but in a nutshell these posts are killed on sight, or every single vendor will start posting links to their product telling people to try it instead of the giveaway software... Freeware is fine though because there is no commercial gain involved - nothing is being "sold".
The other posts you don't get to see are the comments that get sent to me that don't require an answer - it's a case they do get read but obviously serve no purpose being published - they are usually just pointing out a typo or adding a sentence to a prior post, which if I see it - I will generally do. Neither the request or a thanks message (better to send these via pm in the forums) appear in the comments. (But neither is particularly funny or stupid).
