You do have some options (to spare yourself from the dreaded inconvenience of visiting this website for free software).
On the main page http://giveawayoftheday.com/ there are a number of options listed down the right hand side of the screen, such as an email or RSS subscription.
There is also the recently introduced "all singing & dancing Giveaway Gorilla-gram". However if you decide you actually do want a giveaway, you still have to download and install the software yourself.
(We don't recommend you have the gorilla download the giveaways for you, as he tends to do unsavory things with keyboards and bananas).

When I thought I had saw just about everything that could be posted,,,,,,, along came this topic/question. BuBBy your just to nice! LOL
I guess its just not good enough for a website to giveaway software. (that brings all kinds of people) but then to ask about knowing what is being given away without visiting the website (webite)? That takes the cake!!!!
The RSS feed is to get more people to come to the site (well I think thats right anyway or at least it would be my purpose for it).
I tell you what pscrzy,,, for a small fee I'll email you info on whats being given away. OOP's that won't work because you'll have to click the mouse button even more than you would to just simply check here and plus you'd have to check your email too! ROTFLMAO

In all seriousness here folks...
To answer your question pscrzy... you sure can. If you're here in the forums, you may even have such a program already. Download the latest internet explorer, firefox, or other preferable internet browser. Install the program.
Run your browser, and type the following address into the internet address window:
http://www.giveawayoftheday.com
http://www.game.giveawayoftheday.comIf you repeat this process on a daily basis when you boot up your computer, you'll be well informed of what's being given away on any given day. It's worked for me so far. I'm more than happy to pass on what I have learned. Others maybe be somewhat sceptical and maybe upset with me for letting out these shortcuts... but to hell with them... we should all be able to benefit from the knowledge, not just a select few.

You could even make these sites a "favorite" or even less labor intensive - your home/start page. But I think the OP is trying to avoid actually visiting this website.
"Unfortunately" you will still have to actually visit the website to download the software (yes, I realise this is inconvenient - but that's just how it works).

If you don't come to the site, you'll miss out on all these great comments!

Once I was in a supermarket, and I made a sneering remark to another shopper about the expensive packets of ready-grated cheese, speculating about how busy someone has to be if they can't afford the time to grate a bit of cheese. She replied that she had to buy it because she had severe arthritis in her hands--imagine how I felt!
So, however much I'm tempted, I'm not going to automatically sneer at the OP, remembering that incident. It may be that he is locked on to one important site, perhaps monitoring the progress of military planes across the globe.

Favorites BuBBy? Is that the little golden star on the left side of IE that has all the sites that I visit regularly? I like triphammers suggestion too! maz does make a point though but I don't know if it applies here but then again maybe it does.

Favorites. Golden Star. IE. Yes I think so (I use Firefox), they are also known as bookmarks.
And as far as the sneering comments go, I'm only trying to help. If the OPs computer is responsible for monitoring the progress of military planes across the globe - I'd say don't install this software on your computer. It is bad enough when it is software that is "crashing", but I'm certainly not going to take the blame for any planes.

Hang on - maybe he's looking for that GOTD Launcher thing that automatically gets you the program installed and activated right from your desktop (Although I can't imagine what it would have done with yesterday's instructions!).
And maz is right - there may be some perfectly logical reason why he needs to know - maybe he's a kid and his parents have locked out the site after reading the kinds of comments - he would be exposed to on the download page.
Hang in there, pscrzy, we'll get you the help you need!
