Even though I already have a paid for version, this is one cool Flash Card study program: Train your Brain
http://www.digitaldominion.com/
If enabled it will periodically pop up and quiz the flash cards marked for study.

What's the point of putting 'wants' on here if nobody ever answers?
Posted 17 years ago # -
if you want it badly... buy it :)
Posted 17 years ago # -
I am just adding my comment to what someone was saying about , why bother posting our requests, when you never hear anything about whether they will put it as a GiveAwayOfTheDay. Then someone else commented, if you want it badly, "buy it", well, duh!!!!!!The whole idea of this website is that they are "Giving" the programs away, I mean if we want to buy the programs, we wouldn't be coming here, now would we?????
But, I definitely agree with this other person about not hearing anything about the requests that are made, I have requested also a number of times, for a program called "Scrippy", http://www.scrippy.com , it's just a very small program and you can create really nice stationery with it, so am asking again for this nice program to be chosen as one of the GiveAwayOfTheDay programs, thank you.Posted 17 years ago # -
A list of previous giveaways, requested programs (and responses, such as 'no chance', 'maybe - negotiating'), and coming up I think would be a good idea for the site.

I have seen a list of previous "giveaways", but as for making or posting a list of "no chance , maybe, or negotiating", I think that would be an excellent idea.

no chance.
GOTD will/can not indicate which titles are likely, possible or confirmed. It has always been a case of "turn up on the day, and see what is on offer".

I'll be very glad to see those:
Talisman Shell Replacement http://www.lighttek.com/talisman.htm, wich is far away useful and user friendly when compared with similar tools besides good-looking and realible!;
OSLoader http://www.osloader.com/, one of the best boot managers i've tested - it has a nag screen and limited functions for non-registered users, yet allowing boot management with a few useful options such as "renaming bootable drives";
LDA Games http://www.ldagames.com/ as game developer partner! They have TREADMARKS!
Hacker Evolution Reinsertion rerun! C'mon guys, it was great seeing you going back from vacancy but some of us was just unaware of that or missed the two-step registration by a reason or another.
Merscom games rerun! I simply lost each and every one of the large ones (WWII Tank Commander and all Biathlon for naming some) because my system stuck at a certain point and reported timeout when trying to contact Game.GiveawayOfTheDay.com for availability check - soft wrapper limitation could be rewrite?
Thank you for the great work and keep up the whole thing!

Please do a re-run on Foldermarker. This one had an update which converted my perfectly good foldermarker program into a trial version which now has 18 days left... I am totally happy with foldermarker, and I really really want it again... I will buy it if I have to. ;-))))
but a re-run would be nice!
Thanks folks! keep up the good work!Posted 17 years ago # -
I'm looking for a program that can model mechanical operations in 3D and run a simulation that very closely approximates real world results.
Posted 17 years ago # -
@ Rick2230 : try the Lego program... it at least goes a long way to almost realistic results... and you could try the site from Fisher Price. ( german company) . there too you could possibly find ways to do what you're looking for.
