BuBBy's right. A dead horse is a dead horse and all should stop beating on it. The point has been made, GOTD isn't going to respond to any of this. Chalk it up as lesson learned and move on. I'm not taking anyones side in the matter, and I think the whole situation was/is a bad mark that GOTD will just have to live with as well. The developers!... well they just cut their own throat and will have to live with it (of course I don't think their gonna survive long with their underhanded attitude). If the PTB were going to do or say anything about this, it would've been said and done already. What more can they do at this point? The damage is done, nobody is going to give the developer another chance even if they offered it, and the complaints haven't gone unnoticed, you can bet on that. The developers are toast in the eyes of this community and if GOTD got the message, we likely won't have to go through this again. If we do, ...well, that will be strike two and will likely hurt GOTD far more than any-one-person that dwnlds an app from here. It's been very well established through the firestorm here that spread across the Internet as well that people won't put up with the tactics that Morpheus used from any developer/vendor. Greed has a way of coming full circle on people and will suffocate them into the abyss of history in due time.
Let's all just move along and get over it.
BuBBy, I think you should close this thread and get back to the business at hand. The point has been made. The policy will either be adhered to, or changed to suit the desires of the PTB. This is the only action that will come of all this. GOTD will either stand by their stated commitment in the future and be more attentive to what's being given them to post, or change their policy. Time to move on.
