MemberI have both,and I alway's prefer playing game's on my PC,they play better and look better,as long as you have a pc that can play hard.
I use the keyboard and mouse for first person shooters,if i try and play the same game on the xbox with the controller,i am useless,but put me on a driving game and i am afraid a xbox controller is ideal on the pc as well as xbox.
A powerful pc can beat a xbox and ps3 hands down,its just that the developers have to keep things to the console level,the best thing that will happen to pc gaming is the next gen console's that will be released,that's when pc gaming will go up a notch,as most game's now are just bad console ports,sad really.Posted 14 years ago # -

microsoft didn't really kill off cross-platform gaming...pc gamers did. When you look at shadowrun, the first cross-platformer, the console users quit playing because they were getting brutally murdered. It's not their fault, keyboard and mouse are WAY more accurate than a controller any day (except in driving simulators as judydog said.) I used to own an x-box but sold it as I mainly used it for just dvd watching. I stay away from most all FPS games when playing console as the controls feel so darn clunky as compared to playing on my pc. So I mainly use my console for sports, rpg's, rock band, and some very very light shooting.
On a side note, the best FPS game for the xbox is by far Gears of War. I never really had trouble with the aiming in that game like I have every other FPS game.
