   Game Description:
   "Stranded 2 is a Freeware 3D game. You are playing the role of a castaway and your aim is to survive on a lonely island. There is much to explore: gather food, go hunting, construct buildings, tame animals and search for treasure."

   I installed the game on Windows 7 and it runs well. It has a narrated / subtitled intro; nice fluid animation; excellent ambient sound effects.

   Looked interesting so I downloaded. Unfortunately, immediate after the loading completes I get a memory access violation. I am running a Win 7 x64 system with 6 GB of memory. I also tried it on my notebook which runs Win 7 x32 with 2 GB of memory. Same result. Too bad as it looked like I might enjoy it.

   Hi Campy,

   My notebook also has 2 Megs of RAM and Windows 7 32-bit installed. The driver for the on-board Intel VGA chip is updated to the latest version. I chose to download the zipped version of the game and have been running the extracted executable from within a separate folder. Below is a screen capture of how STRANDED 2 looks on my computer. The ambience of the game is quite relaxing. I hope the program error you've been experiencing will eventually go away.

   I tried each of the offered downloading option and when I tried to run got a memory error as well. All my drivers are up to date. Sorry Idunnoboutiwastold for giving more bad info. It sounded fun and the screen shot left me more curious. I'm going to download one of the Zip files again and try to see if I can figure something out.

   AHA!
   If you have a download manager or download accelerator you need to disable it. I do not know why or how, but I got a completely different download experience and file when I did so and it worked. I have DAP. I disabled it and tried to download the zip file. It took me to another page (which it did not when I tried to first time) and then I got a bigger file that contained all the ones needed. It works fine for me know. It looks like a good game, but I have not played it any. I wanted to get over here and let ppl know what I did incase it helps them.
