I have an excellent indie platformer for everyone today titled Umbrella Adventure: Castle of Cake. This is one of those hand-drawn graphics indie games done in gray-scale (black and white.) It's challenging, and the graphics are beautiful to look at. I encourage everyone to give this one a shot. It's not terribly long, but it should keep you entertained for awhile. A big thanks to HiVE games for this one. The controls are as follows:
Move - Arrows or WASD
Jump - Z or K
Brolly - X or L
Pause - Escape
Fullscreen - F4
Title menu:
Accept - Jump or Brolly
Back - Escape
Select - Up or down
Change value - Left or right
Message box:
Speed up text - Any arrows or WASD
Close message - Jump, Brolly or Escape
Change answer - Left or right
Umbrella Adventure doesn't require an installation, it's completely standalone. Simply unzip the file to your desired location and start umbrellaadventure.exe For those of you with controllers, joypads are supported out of the box. =) Follow the link for download and video.
