   Merry Christmas Eve, everyone! Here are more Xmas games. I wanted to post this sooner but it took a bit longer to prepare than expected. Christmas Eve Crisis is a great platformer where you play as Santa trying to find presents and deliver them to the correct houses while avoiding dangerous forest animals. Dawn's Light- A Christmas Tale is a puzzle/rpg game created in Rpgmaker VX. It's also the mini sequel to a commercial game they have on their website. Merry Gear Solid: Secret Santa is a great top-down stealth game. It also has a sequel, Merry Gear Solid 2, that is going to released on Christmas, tomorrow. I'll either add a post to this topic or if wizzard wants to he can add it to his batch of games if it has been released by then. I'm also planning to take a break next week to catch up in playing all the games that have been posted.

   Christmas Eve Crisis

   It's Christmas Eve.

   Everyone is sound asleep, while up in the North Pole, Santa Claus is getting ready for his deliveries. Christmas presents destined for children around the world lie safely in his sack, and his sleigh has been equipped with the latest time-saving technology.

   But this year, things will not go as smoothly as planned. A sleigh accident will scatter thousands of presents over the landscape, forcing Santa into a race against time to gather and deliver them in time for Christmas morning.

   Sunrise is quickly coming... Help Santa make his deliveries and give children everywhere a Christmas they'll never forget!

   Cheats (if enabled in options):
   Note: You won't be able to submit your highscore online.
   F5 - Reveal entire level map.
   F6 - Somersault in mid air (press the jump key while airborne).
   F7 - Invincibility against animals and environmental hazards (it's still possible to die by falling off the bottom of the level).
   F8 - Automatically add a present to your delivered total.

   Dawn's Light- A Christmas Tale

   This is a mini sequel to our first game Dawn's Light. As you can probably guess from the title, it's a Christmas themed game. We didn't plan much of the story before we started but I think there's still some good scenes in there. You may not get some of the jokes if you haven't played the original Dawn's Light but I'm pretty sure you'll still enjoy it.

   Dawn's Light: A Christmas Tale has no battles. I think some people rely on battles too much to extend the length of their games, so I thought it would be a good idea to make a game with absolutely no battles. The content is made up of exploring, puzzles, chatting and using tools (hammer for smashing rocks etc). I would estimate that the game would take 4-5 hours for most players but feel free to let me know if you get a different time.

   Merry Gear Solid: Secret Santa

   Merry Gear Solid: Secret Santa is a top down stealth action game that plays like a simplified version of Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid series.

   After the aftermath of 9/11, the U.S. Government has been suspicious of unidentified flying objects, forcing Saint Nick (Codename: Solid Santa) to deliver presents by foot.

   Using distractions and tools you find around the house, you take control of Solid Santa, slipping by naughty naughty children to deliver your gifts at a Christmas tree located at the 10th floor.

   Merry Gear Solid: Secret Santa was created for The Daily Click’s Grid-Based X-mas Game Competition. It won the Grand Prize.

   Merry Xmas to you rO and to the community as well. Thanks for helping out over the last year. We've collected together some of the best freeware and abandonware games that's available anywhere. :)

   All three games are perfect. :)

   I hope everyone gets something they have been wishing for in the morning. We've just set up the Santa bags and stockings for the kids. They are definitely going to get some big surprises this year. :)

   Merry Gear Solid 2 has finally been released. It's pretty impressive how its creator spent the entire Christmas day working on it instead of taking a break. Initial impressions are good; this game seems to be as good or even better than the first game. This time you play as Solid Snake instead of Santa and the game is suppose to take over 2 hours to complete.

   Merry Gear Solid 2: Ghosts of Christmas Past

   Merry Gear Solid 2: Ghost of Christmas Past is the sequel to 2006’s Merry Gear Solid: Secret Santa. Set years after the events of the first game, Merry Gear Solid 2 sets Old Snake on an adventure to retrieve Santa’s Hat from an extremist group known as the Ghosts of Christmas Past. Using an array of new tools, and returning favorites, Solid Snake must infiltrate Outer Savin’ mall and prevent the Ghosts from taking control of the SOC (Spirit of Christmas) System.
