B.A.S.E. is a super-realistic BASE jumping simulation game that was released as open source when D3, it's creators, went bankrupt. Soon after a fan made patch was released to remove the copy protection. So now the game can be downloaded and played for free. I recommend checking out the manual for this game and doing the tutorial.
BASE is an acronym for the types of objects you can expect to jump from in this game - Building, Antenna, Span, Earth. There are eight different real world locations plus your home base known as the Dropzone. You can place your Dropzone on the map when you start a new career and it acts as your hometown. Your Dropzone is important because it contains all the tutorial missions and you regain money and health while you are there. When at a location you can see a list of all the current events that you can enter. Each jump consists of jumping, freefalling, parachuting, and landing. During an event you can get hurt and equipment could be damaged. Damaged equipment could also fail and you could also die (get a fatality). Normally, you can only die three times before your career is over. The patch also includes a cheat mode to instantly restore health and prevent fatalities.
This game has a dynamic career and travel mode. You don't earn money when completing missions. Instead, you stay at your Dropzone and press the fast forward key several times to simulate working at a real job. You can actually get promoted and demoted depending on how much time you spend working. To get to different locations you have to pay for an airplane ticket and wait a few days to reach your destination. Also, you cannot enter locations at night or when the weather conditions are too dangerous. When at a location you can be randomly invited to participate in an event. Some events cannot be entered if the weather is bad and you are not skilled enough. The patch adds a freejump mode that disables all these features so all locations and all events can be entered at any time.

Enable cheats by ticking the "Enable Cheats?" box in the launcher.
# when you click on your characters picture on the map, you get full health directly, 100 points and $/€100 each click.
# At a stage, you don't run out of time anymore. You can jump as many times as you like!
# If you die, you don't actually die, your health just goes really low, and you don't lose any ghosts. Also if you chose to abandon the jump, you don't lose any ghosts.

disable slomo/adrenalineffect:
make sure that the perception is set to zero when you create your character.
