Here are two more games from the Game Creation Society that involve controlling a spaceship to drop bombs on a target. Saturn Storm is a 2d spaceship bombing game. Eternal Storm is the sequel to Saturn Storm and is 3d.
I have an important announcement, I won't be here next week because my grandmother recently passed away so I have to go to her funeral. I will be leaving tomorrow and probably won't get back on this website until I get back. This is also the reason why I'm posting today instead of Friday.

Saturn Storm
Saturn Storm is a one- and two-player 'bombing run' game. You control a bomb-laden drone through Saturn's harsh atmosphere and attack floating mining platforms belonging to rival corporations. Between runs, you earn money, which can be spent on a variety of bombs, including bunker busters, EMP bombs, and many others.
Saturn Storm is a 2d bombing run game where you use a drone to bomb mining platforms and try to avoid getting shot down. The controls are a bit unusual and may take some time to get use to. You can buy multiple ships and secondary weapons. Make sure you always have a backup ship because if you die and you don't have one then the game gets reset and you have to start over again.
One thing I don't like is the annoying background image for the menus that spins around and around. To get rid of it, open the data folder and find saturn.jpg. Open it in paint and select "Image->Clear Image". You use the Color Fill tool to change it to some other color such as black if you want. Now just save it and the annoying background image will be gone.
I also found a way to enable a level skip cheat. You have to open settings.ini and change the line that says "developerMode = 0" to "developerMode = 1". Now, in game, start a mission and press F3 to immediately complete that mission. That is the only in game cheat I found but if you really want to cheat you can open data\shipstat.dat in notepad to edit ship stats.
Controls:
Left/Right - Adjust Throttle
Up/Down - Adjust Pitch
Space - Release Primary (Dumb) bomb
Enter - Release Secondary bomb

Eternal Storm
Taking place in 3305 A.D, Eternal Storm dives into the rich clouds of Jupiter, where the Juno Corporation uses automated mining platforms to maintain a monopoly on the collection of Hydrogen-3 fuel. Inside the Great Red Spot of Jupiter, a monstrous storm three times the size of Earth, Juno is rumored to have found the storm's source. Hidden by the fury of this storm, a few brave pilots launch a rebellion - the Jupiter Liberation Front - seeking to strike Juno in its heart to uncover the source of its secrets.
Eternal Storm is the sequel to Saturn Storm, this time the game is in 3d isometric view. Your ship is controlled with the mouse with left click to drop bombs. You can buy upgrades to improve your ship's stats and the power of your bombs. The main objective of each level is to destroy the mining platforms in each level before you run out of fuel (time).
Each platform has a Thruster Core that must be destroyed to cause the platform to collapse. Also, be careful because when your ship is not above a platform it is pulled down by Jupiter's gravity and if it sinks too low it gets destroyed. You can use deflector towers (has a green circle) to help gain altitude.
