Sorry about the delay in posting Wednesdays games. I’ve been feeling a little off colour all day. I think the antibiotics I’m taking at the moment are the culprit (in combination with the concoction of opoids and other drugs I now have to take). Anyway, I’ve not given much thought to the following games; I hope you find at least a couple that will appeal. there's a whole crossection of genres from RPG to platform games and Mazes to shooters. The first game called Crazy Taxi is a flash based game that you can either download or play via your browser and the second one called Starlancer Six, I was actually going to save for a few weeks because I’ve already posted a bunch of RPG games the other day, but it’s slightly different as it’s a 2D RPG adventure, so decided to include it in today’s offerings. I used to love games like Cave Ship; manoeuvring your ship through the labyrinth of caves was always challenging. The final game called Gink in Trouble is a platform game that plays differently every time you play it, o have a lot of replayabity. The graphics are good as well, which I find always helps to give you a more pleasing experience. There's also a zombie game called Standing Point: The Final Stronghold for those who love the undead, and a musical shooter based in the famous Ginza area (a shopping area in Tokyo where you'll find the most expensive shops on earth).

Crazy Taxi:
Crazy Taxi is a simple flash game. You’ll require a flash program such as Adobe flash player to be able to play the game. You’ve probably already got a flash program already installed. If you watch you tube you will almost certainly already have it installed.
The downloadable version which can be found via the link below comes with a full installer that creates a shortcut both on the desktop and in the start menu.
Drive the taxi using the maximum possible speed. Press the arrow keys to dodge other cars, accelerate and decelerate, and press the spacebar to jump over them.

Standing Point: The Final Stronghold: (1.03Mb)
Wizzard pointed me to this game the other day. I thought it had been posted in the forums elsewhere, but couldn't find any trace of it; so here it is. It's only a short game (one level) but I thought it was fun to play and had good graphics for a short time. Therefore, an ideal game to fill in those empty moments while waiting for someone to get back to you on the IM or when having a coffee break from your work. :)
Try to stand the invasion of zombies as long as you can. You are on your own with a little bit ammo. The object is simple: Kill as many zombies, motorcyclists, crows and fishes as you can. Don't let them conquer your city. Be careful with your ammunition ;). The game has only just been updated by the developer (21st July) adding a high score table and some fishes (lol)
Controls:
Mouse = Aim
Left mouse = Shoot
Right mouse = Knock the zombies out with your rifle butt

Night Life: (1.92Mb)
Night Life is a cartoonishly hip, independent arcade game chronicling the adventures of a fictional J-rock band in Tokyo.. A punk rock kitty cat, a chain smoking alligator on bass and a hyper bear as the drummer, this three piece musical act rocks their way across the famous Ginza area.
Controls:
You move the band side to side with the mouse, collecting power ups that the enemies drop. The yellow power up is the laser, you can fire the laser with the spacebar.
You also need to fight the bosses by getting a one shot laser power up.Known bugs:
-Sometimes the musical note will get stuck in a straight right to left or up and down pattern. If this happens you can just hit it back to a normal bounce pattern, or wait about 7 seconds for it bounce back to a normal pattern.
- When fighting the bosses, be sure to only hit them one note at a time, if you happen to collect multiple laser power ups, don't rapid fire shoot them.
