Right now, 2BeeGames.com is having a contest for indie game developers. The winning game will be created into a game made for consoles. I have three of my favorites for everyone today. Storm
Storm is a physics based game where you control the weather. You can breathe gusts of wind, summon torrents of rain, and call down lightning. The goal is to play with the environment to guide a series of balls towards the target.
To appreciate what this game has to offer, you really should watch the video. Weather is an interesting aspect to use for physics based games. To watch you manipulate the ball with a flick of the wrist for wind and rain is a phenomenal idea. The lightning is cool, but I think it's a little too off the wall. I mean, come on...we all know lightning doesn't strike the same object twice right? Let alone dozens...

Spirits of Metropolis
This game should appeal to many match 3 enthusiasts. This game takes match 3 and flips it on it's back and gives it a whole new look. You don't wait for the balls/gems/whatever to drop into position to get points, you can manipulate the game board as much as you want until you decide to get rid of a chain. This makes the game different and opens up newer challenges. What kind of challenges? You'll just have to play to find out. =p

Heresy War
This is a beautiful looking flight simulator that may have a strong chance to win the competition, but I believe there is another game that will beat it out (more on this below.)
Heresy War is a combat space simulator currently under development at Dream Builder Studios. It is set in a future where the humanity has reborn from the ashes after a catastrophic world war. The game puts the player in the cockpit of the most technologically advanced fighters in the human military fleet (The Core) as he witnesses the start of a civil war.
