   In response to a question regarding a tripeaks solitaire game, Mikerb posted the following link that takes you to a site with several decent solitaire games for free.

   It wasn't posted in the games forums, so I thought I'd repost it as part of the free games project to make sure it doesn't disappear within the bowels of these forums.

   Yeah; it would probaby have been lost in the forums otherwise, because it hadn't been posted in the games discussion forums. Anyway, I'm going to check out a game I've just bought from my first ever visit to Wallmart. It was in the bargain bins so couldn't resist and is called Sins of a Solar Empire. I could have purchased several games, but I could see my wifes eyes hardening, lol.

   It's a space r.t.s. that seems a little different from your run of the mill r.t.s. games. I've recently been getting back into r.t.s. so am pleased to have found this one. I'd not seen it before. Amazingly it won IGN's game of the year award for 2008 over Fallout 3 (A brilliant RPG game made by the developers of Oblivion), Grand Theft Auto 4, Left 4 Dead and Warhammer Online.
