Today I have two spaceship shooter type games from Cornell University. The first game, Dragon Seal, lets you ride a dragon and has an interesting story. The second game, Formation Flyer, is unique in that you control five ships at once and can change their formation to defeat bosses.

Dragon Seal
Ride atop a fire-breathing dragon, Indra, in over ten levels of forward scrolling, top-down shooting action from an overhead, 2D vantage point.
Explore a deep and engrossing story as Sigurd, a young dragon rider caught between two warring nations. Make new friends and fight former allies as you choose sides and learn the secrets of your former homeland.
Wage war with epic enemies in a series of unique boss battles
Unique NPC riders offer extra abilities and gameplay variations. Gram, the healer, for example, will allow your dragon’s wounds to be healed in mid-flight while Alberich, a soldier, provides a shield to temporarily protect your dragon from enemy fire.
Fight a variety of enemies as you progress further into the game. Enemies include a fleet of sleek, black airships, advanced mechanical weaponry and even your fellow dragon riders!

Formation Flyers
You control a squadron of five ships as you take on six unique bosses. During the fights, you'll have to manage your squadron's formation in order to properly defend and attack in reaction to the enemies' movements.
