Here’s my last lot of games for the next three weeks. I’ll resume posting when I return from my vacation at the end of the first week in June. In the mean time reverse Order is taking over my weekday slot. I don’t know whether anyone will be posting games at the weekends though. I may pop in and post something next weekend, but no promises :)

If you like tank games the first game below is a great addition to your games library. I would have posted links to the authors site, but it has a red WOT rating. If you wish to check out more of the authors games you can find a link to his site via the Caiman link below. (I’ve posted the prequel to Sunday Tanks as well. The last two games are physics based simulations involving car stunts and trampoline physics, plus a snowball throwing game.
In this funny and chaotic 3D battle tank game for one player; you have to assemble a squad and beat the enemy. There are 8 different tanks and 10 kind of squads. You can create a squad of maximum 12 tanks. The enemy can have a maximum of 28 tanks and 5 guest tanks!
You control one of your tanks in a third person shooter mode, and the computer will control the others. By selecting your tanks, you can give them a stronger skill level. The games AI is supposed to be quite good, but I'll leave you to decide.
The game has 6 different worlds: meadow, snow area, desert, ... and even a moon landscape! Each world has it's own animals. Very funny cows, camels, ... and even green aliens. If you are a sadist, you may shoot them too ;) But don't forget this game is kid safe and not violent. The cows will explode, no blood, just the cows will lay on their back, with their hoofs in the air. The effects you get when you touch a tree, cactus, or whatever, is also very funny. The trees will bend over and wobble back and forth for a while. It is real comical!
The game has 50 levels. The first 10 levels are unlocked from the start, because they are training levels. Each time you win the last unlocked level the next level will be unlocked also. The game automatically saves the number of levels and squads.
To unlock the last squad, a squad with enormously good properties, you have to finish all the levels successfully. After that you can replay all the levels again, but this time by using your super squad!

• A red ball: gives you double fire power

You can find details of the games controls via the manual that comes packages with the game. You can choose between using a joystick or keyboard (arrows + space bar), and The menus are mouse controlled.
Strategy:
The armor of the tanks is stronger on their front but weaker on the rear... so shoot the tanks from behind to get a better kill!
In the last level, the 50th one, I couldn't beat the enemy with my 12 super strong tanks! So, a bit of strategy was necessary. I took 11 very strong tanks, all with maximum skill and I controlled a weaker faster tank. I played very conservatively. I never stopped the tank and only fought when I got a shield (a power-up). In this manner I defeated 6 very strong enemy tanks

Sunday Drivers: (4.96Mb)
Sunday drivers is a prequel to the game Sunday Panzers. If you have played this game you will notice the similar graphics and style of game play.
The 3D graphics are good and the game generally has a happy vibe about it. Menus are simple to follow, the GUI is clear and it's not difficult to understand what's needed of you.
As with Sunday Panzers I found this game to be a bit slow, if you fall behind for whatever reason it's very difficult to catch up to the other drivers which causes it to get quite frustrating at times. The collisions are not very well handled; your vehicle tends to almost stop you dead if you knock into somebody else.
Other than that it is a relatively fun game to play. If you're looking for an adrenalin pumping, edge of your seat racer then this is not for you. It's a simple, slow race game with fun graphics and a nice selection of cars and stages to progress through.
There are 5 worlds, 15 tracks, 2 difficulty levels and 16 vehicles to choose from.

I think freeware fan posted this game or one similar early last year.
You must drive a car around a race course setting and earn you score by doing stunts. You must make jumps for distance and height, spins, flips etc there are 4 vehicles to choose from and each handle differently. The best thing about this game is the editor. Make your own stunt park and place jumps and other obstacles around the arena and do your own crazy stunts, save your stunt playground and then share your arena and challenge your friends. It even has an instant replay feature with full VCR controls to save and load replays and future add-ons to the game. An interesting and addictive car game with a good 3D engine, believable physics system and some nice sounds and effects. If your tied of the usual car race games then check Stunt Playground out.
