Guardin' the Garden is a very unusual game created by students from Cornell University. You have a garden that you have to protect from various bugs. It is similar to tower defense games in that you can only create tower type defenses. It is not completely tower defense, you can build walls and expand your base. There are lots of levels and I highly recommend it if you like strategy/tower defense games.
In Guardin' the Garden, you must fend off your beloved garden from invading pests: termites, mice, roaches, and spiders, oh my! To do this, you'll lay down wood and stone walls to slow the invaders, then place an assortment of defenses to stop them dead, literally! Whether you use bug spray, gushing hoses, focused sunlight from a magnifying glass, or even a mechanical scarecrow that launches explosive bug bombs, you'll be ready to take them on! Your final goal will be to wrap the elusive Golden Hoe into your garden and hold it against the invaders!
