Today's game is called Khaymann's Inn. Khaymann's Inn is a card game very similar to poker. When the game starts out, you have to choose from one of three characters: goblin, sorceress, or a dwarf. After choosing your character, you are taken to the game screen. First you have to click on a little green button at the top left of the screen to deal 3 cards. Based on the cards, you make a choice of which aspect you want to represent. The four aspects to choose from are swords, flags, skulls, or goblets. Once you pick your aspect, click on the green button again and you will be dealt two more cards. At this point in time, you decide if you want to keep your current aspect or change it. After you decide, you are allowed to exchange cards just like in poker.
Scoring is based on face value of cards. Blank cards are worth 0 and dragon cards are worth 11 points if they are in your chosen aspect. If you have a dragon card that isn't in your aspect, your best bet would be to keep it. Dragons are wild and can be played on any aspect but are only worth 8 if not your chosen aspect. Once the scoring begins, the player must pass a semi-finals round. This means that you must have the most points in your aspect out of the three players. Even though it may not be your chosen aspect, you can still get more points than the other players, mainly through dragons. All players who pass this round will go on to the finals where the total of your aspect will be matched against the other players' chosen aspect. The player with the most points wins the hand.
Betting seems to be one coin per card dealt. Usually the pot will be 15-20. In the case of a draw, the pot carries over to the next hand. I actually got into this game somewhat, kind of like video poker I guess. I give this game an 8/10 for attempting to be slightly different in a genre where there's not much room for originality. The download comes in at 11.8mb so it shouldn't take long to download it.
