Back to posting games created by guys from Cornell University. Today's game is called Guys. It's very similar to Lemmings in that you have to get a certain amount of guys to the exit door. You control a guy who uses a magic wand to place and remove blocks to solve puzzles and get the guys to the exit.
The Story thus Far...
On the far side of a nearby forest, in a little village called Lepus Valley, live the Guys: a happy bunch of sprites who live and work by the light of the moon. Each Guy wears a special magic hat to help him do his job: some Guys wear farming hats and others wear carpenter's hats, among many others, which give them the abilities they need to make Lepus Valley prosper.
Every month around this time, the Guys at Lepus Valley celebrate the coming of the full moon by having a huge party. Chef Guys cook up a giant feast and everyone straps on their Party hats to have a good time.
But this full moon was different. Soon after sunset, before the party began, there was a total eclipse of the moon which cut out all the light. Everyone was scared and confused, nobody could see; Guys tripped over each other and made a big mess.
When the moon came back into view, they noticed something terrible: most of their hat racks were missing! Spread all over the valley was glitter and ribbons, and the whole place smelled of perfume. The Gals, who lived on the moon, had come down and stolen their good hats! Most of the hats they had left were completely useless Party, Napping, and Couch Potato hats. How would they ever be able to do their work tomorrow night?
Amidst the panic that followed, two clever little Guys named Naby and Lavi stepped up and took control. As it turned out, they had been planning a magic performance for later that night and had Magician hats in their pockets. Naby put on his Magician hat and prepared his magic wand while Lavi told some Couch Potato Guys to check between the cushions. Searching the village together, the Guys managed to round up some Fat and Skinny hats, which weren't altogether useless, and then Naby outlined his plan:
Naby would take a group of Guys wearing the Fat and Skinny hats away from Lepus Valley, on a long journey to a factory he'd heard of where they had a spaceship. They'd commandeer this spaceship and fly to the moon, where they could confront the Gals and get their hats back. Hopefully, they'd be able to do this soon, or Lepus Valley would be doomed!
Take control of Naby and Lavi as they lead their troops of Fat and Skinny Guys to the moon! Solve puzzles and lead Guys around difficult puzzles, without letting them fall into water and other hazards! Defeat the Gals and rescue Lepus Valley from their evil plots! Wear hats!
