3D Game With a Guy Flying a Pedal Plane (And a really ridiculously long name) was created by students from the University of Illinois at Chicago. It is a simple but well designed airplane time trials style racing game.
The controls are simple with space to pedal forward, arrow keys to turn left, right, up, and down. Your character has a stamina bar that decreases when pedaling forward and you will eventually get too tired and crash when it empties. Luckily food just happens to be floating by balloons in your path to replenish your stamina.
There are three courses: Easy, Medium, and Hard. According to the screenshots there is also an unlockable super-hard hidden course. Each course has a normal time trials mode and a practice mode where your stamina doesn't decrease so you can practice or explore.
Website Description:
"3D Game With a Guy Flying a Pedal Plane" is a simple flying race against the clock. The player must navigate an aircraft through a series of checkpoint rings in order, making it to the final goal ring as quickly as possible. If the aircraft crashes before reaching the goal, then the player fails and the game is over.
