   I’m posting Wednesday’s games almost a day early because I want to take a day off from coming to these forums. It seems like I live here these days. So I’ll see you on Thursday with a couple more games for the free games for the weekday project. I’m going to catch up on playing some games that I bought ages ago as well as emails etc. Some are long overdue. :)

   I’ve got two games for you today, one an excellent game for children and one for the adults; both are from a developer called Sigma Team that has decided to convert the following games to freeware/abandonware. Both games have previously been given away on the game giveaway project in it’s first year and I can say for certain that the first I’m posting below, called Chak’s Temple is a high quality, excellent arkanoid with a difference. I loved this one from the first time I bought it a few years ago and am surprised the developer gave it away so soon after it’s release.

   Chak's Temple is classic break-out that features colorful graphics, diverse sound effects and thrilling tribal drum music. Backgrounds are animated and quite well one. You can see grass, trees, flying butterflies and other insects.

   Crazy Lunch: (9.82Mb)

   This is from the same developer that gave away Alien Shooter that I added to the free games project several weeks ago

   Your lunch disappeared? You suspect your colleagues?

   The problem is that little strange creatures appeared on your desk. You will have a lot of fun trying to get rid of them.

   In this game you will get:

   Three game modes

   • Don’t let monsters to steal your lunch!
   Stop attacks of creatures on your desktop.

   • Find identical objects!
   Monsters hide your lunch behind their backs. You need to find identical objects and chase them away from your plate.

   Yes! Excellent choices, Stephen... I recall loving Chak's Temple, but lost it in a computer transfer... same w/ Crazy Lunch. Great giveaways! Now don't you even PEEP in here on Wednesday. Time for some bunny-fun-time. 8-) (I'm watching!)

   Lol. that's like asking a cat not to play with the mouse.....

   I must have had Chak's Temple on my computer before...maybe as a beta...when I started the game it already had my name on it and I was about half way through the game!

   He will be checking in, even though he might not post...

   Hi Stephen,

   Thank you for these game links. I don,t usually like breakout games but I thought I would give this one a go. I'm so glad I did. I have had a really enjoyable afternoon playing Chak's Temple. So once again a big thank you to you.

   Enjoy your time away from the forum. I'm sure that it will not be long until you are back sharing your gems with us.

   Thanks so much for the Crazy Lunch link Whiterabbit.
   I doubt if I'll be playing the game itself but it led me to two Alien Shooter add-ons that I never knew about, plus a free download of Theseus.

   Yes, the Rabbit's footprints lead you on a crazy path... and sometimes you actually find, by seeking something else, something he has had on his giveaway list before! (I.e., Theseus...) But whichever way you find them, it all leads back to the Rabbit. His Karma is spreading far and wide, so let the merry band follow!

    Hi Local, You'll find that Theseus was posted in this project several weeks ago. Just check the alphabetic synopsis sticky.

    You can also get Alien Shooter and Crimson Road an offshoot of the genrefor free from either Gametop or FreegamesPick as well. You will find that these distributors change the name of the games slightly from the original. That's something to do with licensing. All the games are commercial games but you get them for free at the cost of allowing them to open your browser when you close the game dow. there's no in game advertising and once you shut the browser down there's no comeback. The two sites mentioned above are probably some of the best sources for quality games - Gametop moreso.

    Oops I have to admit I've not been reading your gaming posts for very long.
    I did have a look at the synopsis a few weeks ago and found my HDD filling up way too quickly so I only check them out when something catches my eye.

    Thanks for the Links, I still don't like going to gametop but your effort is appreciated.

    I did notice something strange when checking out Absolute survival though.
    As you mentioned, they change the names for copyright reasons but the graphics too?
    From what I can see this is Crimsonland (Amazing Game) but with a different sprite.
    I wonder if it is all above board.

    Oh well free games yay!
