Today I have decided to offer Narbacular Drop (Portal) and The Political Machine.
Narbacular Drop:
Narbacular Drop was the senior project of some students attending DigiPen. If you have ever played Portal, then you have pretty much played this game. The same team of developers who made Narbacular Drop, were hired by Valve to create Portal. The story is basically the same in the sense that the "cell" that our hero is imprisoned in is actually a computer program. For those that havn't played Portal, the object of the game is to create two different portals to travel through the game world and avoid obstacles along the way. Any fans of Portal should definitely check this game out, if for nothing else but to explore the history of Portal.

The Political Machine Express Edition:
The Political Machine is a great simulation of the United States' politics. In this version of the game, you are limited to 4 playable characters: Barack Obama, Joe Biden, John McCain, and Sarah Palin. However, this doesn't take away from the fun of this game. You take your presidential candidate through 21 weeks of campaigning and picking your running mate. You can set up bases in any state, but be strategic about which states you want to focus your time in. California, Texas, and New York are always three states that you want to win. Along the way, you can purchase extra help such as public relations help and dirty tactics henchmen. Another key to victory is winning endorsements. During the 21 weeks, it is very common for the player to get interview requests. Think carefully in your interview, because the answers are very important to your race. In my run-through, I defeated Obama rather easily with Sarah Palin. That being said, I used several operatives that he didn't. I highly recommend this game because I found it to be quite strategic and fun.
When installing the game, Stardock requires that you also install their match-making software Impulse. Then you have to create an account with Stardock. After you have finished signing up, you can uninstall Impulse and it won't affect the game at all. The download size is 177mb.
