Giveaway of the Day Forums

   Hello,
   I have twin 6 year old, boy, nephews, and they love racing and off road type games, "fanatical" springs to mind, unfortunately I have none on my machine, and not a clue what would be suitable for their age level. A few freeware suggestions would be very helpful.

   A few links you could check out:
   GOTD's favourite Games Guru, Whiterabbit, posted a game called Driving Speed a couple of weeks ago and GameTop has a couple of car games and racing games.

   If they're true fanatics then they'll probably beat ya ;-)

   You can also get the first two Grand Theft Auto games for free (abandonware) from the following address. (probably not suitable for a 6 year old though as there's a lot of violence and I think some swear words) Though the one I’ve supplied requires you to download gameshadow. A games manager that ensures your games are the latest versions. If you don’t want to install gameshadow, just Google Grand Theft Auto 1 and 2 (or 2), also try the home of GTA: Rockstar games. You used to be able to download the abandonware directly from their site, though a quick glance over I was unable to find the links:

   I’ve already given away a few of my DVD based games, but I still have several that I’m looking to throw out as I never play them now. They are all over 5 years old, but they are much better than today’s game. So if you fancy any one of them; contact me via the administrators. (You have to send a private message to them via the link below your name once you’ve registered in the forums). You’ll have to register over on the forums to do this though.    Hi,
   Thank you for all the links, when the boys come to visit next time they will have lots to do. Yes, g@rgoyle, they can already beat me on some of the keyboard games I have, their fingers are way more flexible than mine.:(
   Way to go "Games Guru" it is nice to see some recognition for all the work you do.
