The following is just a taster. I've been working on it for about a week on and off. It's a tedious job, but I think will be worth it in the end. There's a vast number of online multiplayer games available to play for free if you know where to look. The following list is by no means exhaustive, and doesn't cover all the genres. I thought I'd give you a taster as I've already mentioned that I was working on it, but it's going to take me much longer to complete it, so i thought i'd post the first 'chapter' today.
Please note, that all the game clients are free, as is all of the games to play. I've not included those games sucha s the brilliant Lord of the Rings, or World of Warcraft, because you have to buy the clients and also pay monthly subscriptions to play on the servers. However, many of the games to have an element where you can purchase in game items. Much like you can in SAGA, the game that we got as a giveaway a few months back. Though the items are not necessary, and as with SAGA, there are other ways (though slower) to earm many o the items that some prefer to purchase with real money.
I've tried to include screenshots, external reviews and videos where at all possible, so you should get some idea what the games look like.

Please note that some of these games are over 2Gb in size, so if you don't have a broadband service, it's probably going to be impossible to download unless you use a good download manager, that enables you to download over night over several nights. The chance to rule the world – that is the premise behind Archlord, Codemasters' massively multiplayer online title for the PC.
