Hi Ma'am/Sir,
I would like to ask some question about d3dx9_25.dll, after installing the game i get error message and say's " This application has failed to start because d3dx9_25.dll " What is d3dx9_25.dll? and where can i get d3dx9_25.dll? somebody help me about this error please.. Thanks advance.

Hi Ruthiel, It's a component of Direct X 9.0c; you can get the latest version of DirectX 9 from microsoft for free.
You should find the download via the following link:
HaHa - we all know those spammers, who ask for help and little later comes the answer with a link to an obscure website.
Now we have it the other way, we got 2 spams some days ago with a dubious download link for d3dx9_25.dll and now there is the question about this file -
all three posts are coming from the same IP address...
At least thanks to WR, they know now that there is a (the only) genuine download link.

and for those who have multiple computers- and/or want to update ones not on the internet, here is the DirectX end-user redistributable v9.29.1974 Release Date 4-18-2011 [95 mb] you can put on a disc and fix DirectX anytime.
here's the .NET Framework 4 Standalone Installer [48 mb] in case you bang into the latest .NET PITA- I keep the full set of redistributable/offline installs ready to hand including the .NET Framework Cleanup Tool, the .NET Framework Setup Verification Tool, plus the Windows Installer 3.1 (v2) & 4.5 Redistributable- on a CD/DVD. :-)
I don't like to lose.

That would be cool. I had a fix for Crysis that unlocked some of the DX10 graaphics in XP, but I'm almost done with XP now. Keep a copy running for testing purposes only.
Will get back to you about your last PM. sorry it's taken me so long to answer; been pre-occupied with loads of stuff.

yeah, I forgot that was a chimera of sorts, not a m$ official offering, and as far as I can see it's fallen by the wayside. I'm kind of sorry about that, now I have a 1 gig DirectX 11/Shader Model 5.0 PCIe 2.0 GT 430 video card to push things along. inexpensive, but a fair amount of zip compared to the embedded ATI. makes the best previous card (fx5700 256mb) look like it's standing still.
what I can use the HDMI 1.4 output for is rather a mystery so far.
I can dig preoccupation- between PT, fixing stuff springing leaks, and installing battery-backed green LED anti-fall lighting, what's top of the list changes too fast to keep up with.
I plan to be around, no worries.
Although I *do* plan on getting the $50 together by July 16th for a supporting membership for Renovation, the 69th World Science Fiction Convention- as those registered to vote on the Hugo Awards have access to electronic copies of everything on the ballot. which are DRM-free and worth more than 50 clams. [drool]
